STFC: Automated Shipyard

Update 58 of STFC introduced various new features, including Automated Shipyards you can vanquish to earn rich rewards.

Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) is an adventurous video game which enables gamers to experience strategic battles. In addition to following the main story, you can build vessels, recruit officers, defeat hostiles and explore space.

One of the Solo Armadas that you can vanquish is Automated Shipyards.

On Tuesday, 5 September 2023, Scopely announced update 58 which is known as Lower Decks II Part 1. This major update introduced a new ship, new officers, new missions, new research nodes and new enemies.

After unlocking the new ship, Monaveen, you can try to battle the new hostiles, Texas-class.

If you successfully defeat them, you will receive loot, which can be exchanged for Shipyard Directives. These directives can be used to challenge new Solo Armadas called Automated Shipyards.

Keep in mind that you cannot ask for help from friends or Alliance members to defeat the Automated Shipyards, as it is a solo enemy. For defeating the Automated Shipyards, you will receive Shipyard Credits.

Once you have sufficient Shipyard Credits, you can trade them in for a bounty of materials or resources in the Monaveen Refinery.

Unfortunately, only Commanders level 40 and higher can unlock the Monaveen. This ship is required to travel to the new Texas-class systems to vanquish the Texas-class hostiles and then to receive Shipyard Directives.

If you are yet to reach level 40, you cannot destroy the new enemy type. We recommend that you focus on the enemies available to you to increase your level.

Which ship should you use to defeat Automated Shipyard hostiles?

Although you can use any STFC vessels to conquer the new enemies, we recommend that you use the Monaveen.

It is a battleship designed to capture the captivating blend of fantasy meets sci-fi aesthetics inspired by the Monaveen in Lower Decks.

This vessel possesses a notable ability which amplifies base damage against new hostiles. This unique capability empowers the ship with unparalleled strength against enemies, outclassing the capabilities of all other ships.
