PSO2 NGS: Stia

Stia is the fourth region expansion of PSO2: NGS, and it allows players to explore a volcanic environment where embers fly and lava flows.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (PSO2: NGS) is an exhilarating video game that combines role-playing elements with tactical battles.

Since the game is online, you can enjoy its content with other players across the globe. The game’s developer, Sega, occasionally introduces new content into the game, and they recently announced a new region called Stia.

Areas in PSO2: NGS

The open field of PSO2: NGS is divided into 2 sectors, namely, the Combat Sector and the Exploration Sector. The type of sector that you are in can be identified by looking at the icon next to the “Sector Name”, in the upper right corner of the game.

If it is an Exploration Sector, you will notice a green icon, which means that you can safely procure gathering materials. However, do take note that high-level enemies or strong bosses may spawn very rarely in these sectors.

Red icons are displayed to indicate a Combat Sector, which is extremely dangerous due to the number of enemies that spawn in that area.

PSO2 NGS: Stia

Sega announced early in 2022 that a new region, called Stia, will be introduced into the game. The region launched on Wednesday, 7 December 2022, and it features exciting new content.

The Stia region is the fourth region expansion of PSO2: NGS, and it is located southeast of Kvaris, and north of Retem. With regard to its biome, it is the complete opposite of Kvaris. Instead of high mountains, Stia tends to go underground rather than aboveground.

Stia’s base, which is called the Stia Camp, is situated at the base of a volcano, and it shares that design language, unlike other regions that previously had their camps in the center.

Players will also find an appealing volcanic rock at the center of the game, with the usual amenities, like the Quest Counter and Salon surrounding it.

It is important to note that Stia has an Exploration Sector, and although it is rare for enemies to spawn in this area, you may find Gigantix monsters while exploring the new region.

Players can also find the Combat Sector Dext Base, from which rocks from the volcano shoot out and fall into the field occasionally. You can throw these rocks at enemies to deal extra damage.

You can allegedly come across new enemies while you are in the Combat Sector, and these enemies share the same volcanic theme.

It is thus recommended that you use Ice abilities when you are attempting to defeat these enemies, as most of them are weak to the element.

Stia update

The Stia region officially launched on Wednesday, 7 December 2022, and it introduces new content to PSO2: NGS. You can explore an extremely volcanic environment in which embers fly and lava flows.

The region also features an Artificial Relict to Keep Species (ARKS) organisation base, known as Stia Camp, where you will find your usual vendors.

Additionally, you can head to the harsh Dreisen Plant and Mediola Outer Area, where you may come across a gang of Gigantix.

Players can also test their abilities in the New Trainia in the Stia Exploration Sectors, where a range of challenge settings are unlocked at Rank 2.

Stia region

The entire Stia region in PSO2: NGS shares a volcanic theme. This means that players can explore a vast volcanic environment where embers fly and lava flows.

While you are exploring the Stia region, you can find invisible boxes that contain valuable items. You may also find Complex Minerals with tons of Minerals inside.

As previously mentioned, Stia contains an Exploration Sector known as Dreisen Plant 1, and a Combat Sector, known as Dext Base 1.

Each region is visually distinct, with the Dext Base showing off the depths of the volcanic landscape that the region is known for. Dreisen Plant 1, on the other hand, is depicted as a primarily technological and mechanical setting.

Stia Region Prep campaign

The Stia Region Prep campaign started on 26 October 2022 and concluded on 7 December 2022. During this time, players were able to collect Stia Expedition Tickets to prepare for the next adventure in the Stia Region.

You had to complete limited-time tasks in the campaign time to earn tickets, which were used to procure powerful items, such as the 8-star Rarity Primm Libra Weapon series, at a later date.

The Primm Libra series is a collection of special 8-star Rarity weapons that do not drop from enemies. The weapon’s attack before enhancement is 436, but at enhancement level 50, its attack is increased to 601.

Moreover, the weapon increases your potency by 18 percent, and your health points recover by 4 percent every 10 seconds.
