There are more than 15 Relik weapons that players can use in PSO2: NGS, but they all only drop after you defeat certain enemies.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (PSO2: NGS) is an exhilarating video game that combines role-playing elements with tactical battles.
Since it is based on the classic video game, Phantasy Star Online 2, players will likely experience similar elements. However, NGS was released a decade after its predecessor, and thus, you can enjoy updated graphics and mechanics.
It is your responsibility to explore a vast open world while defeating a powerful threat known as the DOLLS. On your quest to save the world, you can craft, collect, and procure armour and weapons.
Every weapon and armour piece provides your character with unique buffs and effects. One of the weapon sets that you can get is the Relik set, but it can only be collected as drops when you defeat certain enemies.
Drops
Drops, otherwise known as loot, is the collection of items picked up by players’ characters that can increase their power, or level up their abilities. They generally include currencies, spells, equipment, and weapons, among other things.
Drops are designed to reward players for advancing in the game and can be of superior quality to items that are available for purchase. Loot can also include items that can be part of an upgrade system, which increases the player’s abilities permanently.
You can also loot items after you have defeated an in-game enemy, whether in the open world, or in a dungeon or raid.
PSO2 NGS: Relik weapon drop
In the Relik weapon series, there are 17 unique weapons, each of which has potentials that can influence your gameplay.
The Relik Endoif can increase your potency, your damage resistance, and restasigne health points, and the Relik Lexell decreases your photon point consumption and increases your photon point recovery when you are attacking.
Every weapon in the series can only be acquired by defeating a specific monster that can only be found in a certain region in PSO2: NGS:

Can Relik weapons drop from Urgent Quests?
Most PSO2: NGS players believe that Relik weapons can be procured by completing Urgent Quests, but this is not the case. Each boss has its own loot table of Relik weapons:
Urgent Quest | Possible drops |
Renus Vera |
|
Dustyl Vera |
|
The Katana and the Sword is a possible drop from the Dustyl Vera and the Renus Vera. However, this principle does not apply to the other weapons, so you should ensure that you are farming the correct boss.
Battledia
An alternative way to get weapons is by completing Battledia Quests. These quests can be accessed through a Trigger Portal. There are currently 2 types of Battledia Quests, namely, Yellow and Purple.
To get a Relik weapon, players have to complete Purple quests. These high-difficult quests spawn continuous Gigantix enemies. Although it is more difficult than the Yellow quests, you can obtain the following weapons:
- Relik Endoif
- Relik Skollhati
- Relik Sturm and Drang
- Relik Punishment
- Relik Dependence
- Relik Despertar
- Relik Tartarus
- Relik Obsidian
- Relik Benedit
- Relik Barbatos
- Relik Lexell
When can players use a Relik weapon?
The Relik weapons in PSO2: NGS have specific requirements to be used. In order to equip a Relik weapon, your character has to be at least level 31. If you are yet to reach this level, it is advisable that you follow the main story arc to accumulate experience points.
