During Zeal of Zenithar in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), you can earn a Daedric Embers Key, which can be used to unlock the vault in White-Gold Tower.
Gamers are invited to explore the persistent world of Tamriel in this distinguished video game, The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). As its name suggests, ESO is part of the classic Elder Scrolls game series.
This means that you are likely to discover similar questlines, non-player characters (NPCs), and zones in this version of the game.
Unlike its predecessors, ESO is an online video game, which means that you can play and enjoy content with likeminded gamers. Players can occasionally participate in in-game events, which are time-limited.
During the Zeal of Zenithar event, you have to complete specific tasks to earn rewards, and one of these is the Daedric Embers Keys.
Zeal of Zenithar
Zeal of Zenithar is a new in-game event that commenced on 30 June 2022. Since the event has been active for over 10 days, it is concluding on 12 July 2022. To participate in this event, you have to pick up the event quest, An Offering He Can’t Refuse.
When you have completed the quest, you will notice a new quest marker near the Shrine of Zenithar. Players should speak to Fasaria to get their daily quest. After praying to the statue, you must complete 1 of the following tasks to receive your rewards:
- Gain a level or earn a Champion Point
- Unearth an Antiquity or Treasure Chest
- Spend 5 000 gold at a Guild Trader
ESO: Daedric Embers Key
When you have completed a task, you can return to Fasaria to get your rewards. You will earn 3 Event Tickets and a gold-quality Zenithar’s Sublime Parcel. Players can get a multitude of rewards from the parcels, which include but are not limited to:
- Outfit pages for the High Rock Spellsword style
- Imperial City vault keys
- Research boosters
- Treasure maps
- Currency Pouches
- Crafting tempers
- Repair kits
- Crafting Motifs
There are different types of vault keys you can get during this event, one of which is the Daedric Embers Key. Once you have enough keys, you can either go to the White Gold Tower dungeon or the Imperial City dungeon to open their vaults.
It is worth noting that the Daedric Embers Trophy Vault is a treasure vault located in the Palace Sewers below the White-Gold Tower in Imperial City. The vault can only be opened with a Daedric Embers Key or Key Fragments.
Once you are inside of the vault, you will find a treasure chest that can only be unlocked with a Daedric Embers Key or Key Fragments. The chest could drop any of the following items:
- Essence Thief set pieces
- Spell Power Cure set pieces
- Nibenese Court Wizard Style Pages
- Brands of Imperium set pieces
Bear in mind that at release, the vault was opened with a Daedric Embers Key crafted from 150 Daedric Embers. These still exist in-game but have been replaced by Key Fragments.
This means that you can either use your Daedric Embers Key or the Key Fragments to open the Daedric Embers Trophy Vault.
How to enter the White-Gold Tower
In order to use your Daedric Embers Key, you must travel to the White-Gold Tower dungeon, where you will find the Daedric Embers Trophy Vault.
Firstly, you can teleport directly to the dungeon by opening the world map, and clicking on the Cyrodiil region before clicking on the White-Gold Tower icon. You can then teleport to the dungeon.
Players should note that they do not have to complete the dungeon to access the Trophy Vault, as it is located on the ground floor, down a tunnel on the right-hand side.
What items are for sale during the Zeal of Zenithar event?
Zeal of Zenithar is a limited time event that gives players specific tasks to complete to earn event tickets. Gamers can use these tickets to purchase the following rare and desirable items from the Impresario merchant:
- Fragments for the Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet
- Fragments for the Aurielic Quasigriff mount
- High Rock Spellsword Style Pages
- Companion Commendations
- Group repair kits
Indrik Vendor
Starting with the Zeal of Zenithar event, players can find a new Indrik Vendor in Belkarth Craglorn, and although she is only active during events, she sells items and berries that are used to craft the Indrik Mounts.
This is the perfect opportunity to get the Indrik if you missed them previously. The Indrik morphes differ with every in-game event.
