STFC: Mission Key Hunter

STFC has introduced a new way for players to recruit officers in the game, however, you will need a Scopely ID to enjoy the new recruiting system.

In this adventurous mobile game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), you can build ships, harvest resources, complete space-based missions, and defeat enemies.

One of the missions that you can complete is Key Hunter, which rewards gamers with officer shards.

Missions in STFC

Since the game follows the Kelvin chronology of the classic Star Trek series, its missions will follow the same pattern as the story. There are various missions y in STFC, including main missions and side missions.

The main mission, as implied by the name, covers the main story of STFC, therefore, it is mandatory to complete.

The side missions  are additional quests that do not influence the main story. Side missions are optional, but we recommend that you do complete them as they yield great rewards.

STFC: Mission Key Hunter

STFC’s developers, Scopely, recently introduced a new way to recruit officers to the game. You have to complete the Mission Key Hunter in order to procure Mission Keys, which can be used to redeem officer shards daily.

Keep in mind that this is an Alliance Milestone Event, which means that your entire Alliance has to participate in the Milestone in order to acquire officer shards.

To obtain the mission, you have to open the Event Store, where you will find the Mission Key Hunter event.

To participate in the event, you need to get Mission Key Drops, which you can use to claim Officer shards in the brand new Mission Key Recruit.

This recruiting system provides an exciting rotation of officers, including Five of Eleven, Mudd, Khan, Quark, and Reginald, among others.

To get started, you have to claim your free Mission Keys in the “Gift” tab on the website and in the “Recruit” tab in-game. In order to access the daily mission key drop on the web, you have to sign up for a Scopely account and log into the STFC web portal.

Once you are signed in, you can open the Recruit tab in the game to use your Mission Keys to collect officer shards.

How to create a Scopely account

Gamers can receive free officer shards by creating a Scopely account. Firstly, you have to select your Avatar in the top left corner of the game. After clicking on the “Settings” tab, you have to select the general settings and press the “Sign in” option.

When you have registered your email address and password, you can click on the “Register” icon to create your Scopely account. Once confirmed, you will be notified that your account has been linked correctly.

Players will then receive a Scopely identification number which is displayed in the game. You can use your registered email address and password to sign into Scopely on the website.

How to claim your free officer shards

It is crucial to note that you have to collect your officer shards daily on the official STFC Scopely website. After logging in, you can open the “Web gifts” section, which allows you to accept numerous gifts, including the Daily Mission Key Drop.

Keep in mind that you have to click on the “Claim” button to receive your in-game keys. Once you have claimed the keys, you can open STFC and open the recruit menu.

In this menu, you will find a “Mission Key Drop” category, which allows you to use your Keys to get officer shards and officers.

Alliance Milestone Event

Although the Mission Key Hunter is classified as an Alliance Milestone Event, it functions differently from other Alliance Milestone Events. This is because you can claim a key for free daily, regardless of your Alliance.

However, every time you claim a Key on the website, it will count towards an Alliance Milestone. When the Alliance has collected a certain number of keys, it will unlock additional officers, for which you can claim the officer shards.

If your Alliance is not very active, you can still claim the keys to receive officer shards. But if your Alliance is active, you may unlock additional officers.
