WoW: Ominous Tome

In order to unlock the Demonic Grace rune in WoW, players have to acquire the Ominous Tome by defeating a specific monster.

World of Warcraft (WoW) Classic is an adventurous video game that invites players to prevent Deathwing from destroying the persistent world of Azeroth.

Blizzard recently released the Season of Discovery, which is a major update that introduced new content to WoW Classic.

Ominous Tome

Season of Discovery introduced Runes, which are scattered throughout Azeroth. Players can find and equip runes to their items to unlock additional abilities for their characters.

Keep in mind that some runes are hidden in plain sight, while other runes are hidden away in dark forests.

Every class has 12 runes they can use to customize their build even more. One of the Warlock runes you can acquire is Demonic Grace and it increases your pet’s and your own dodge chance by 30 percent.

It also increases your chance to critically strike with all attacks by 30 percent.

To discover this rune, you have to acquire specific items, however, the items you have to collect depends on your race.

Although most of the items each race has to collect differs, every race has to procure an Ominous Tome to unlock the rune.

Some players claim that your race also determines how you can acquire the rune. This essentially means that Undead characters and Gnome characters do not have to defeat the same monster to earn the item.

Once you have acquired the Ominous Tome, you may have to farm other items before you can summon the enemy to earn the Demonic Grace rune.

How to get the Ominous Tome

Players have to defeat a specific monster to earn the Ominous Tome, however the monster you have to defeat depends on your class.

The following table lists the monsters you have to defeat to acquire the item:

Class	Monster you have to defeat
Human	Players have to vanquish Kobolds in the Gasperlode Mine.
Orcs and Trolls	These players have to defeat Voodoo Trolls, but they can only be found on the Echo Isles in Durotar.
Gnomes	Near Brewnall Village you will find the Troll caves and by going inside the cave, you can encounter and defeat Frostmane Shadowcasters.
Undead	You have to defeat Darkeye Bonecasters in Tirisfal Glades to earn an Ominous Tome.

Additional Items you need to procure

In addition to Ominous Tomes, you will need to procure the following items before you can summon the demon to acquire Demonic Grace:

Class	Items
Human	Gnoll Blood: This item drops from local mobs. Wolf Jawbone: You have to defeat Prowler and Wolf mobs in the forest to obtain Wolf Jawbones.
Orcs and Trolls	Makura Leg: Players have to defeat Makrua mobs to acquire this item. Kull Tiran Skull: You have to travel to Tiragarde Keep and defeat Kul Tiran mobs to procure this item.
Gnomes	Wendigo Blood: You can find this item near Wendigo mobs. Wolf Jawbone: This item can be acquired from Wolf mobs in Coldridge Valley.
Undead	Gnoll Blood: Can be acquired by defeating Gnolls in Garren’s Haunt. Wolf Jawbone: This item drops from Trisfal Glades’ Darkhounds.

How to summon the demon

Once you have obtained all the necessary items mentioned in the abovementioned table, you will be able to summon the demon. You have to defeat this demon in order to earn the Demonic Grace Rune.

Human	You have to go to The Slaughtered Lamb Inn, which can be found in Stormwind’s Mage Quarter to summon the demon.
Orcs and Trolls	These players have to head to Zalazane and use his summoning circle to summon the demon.
Gnomes	You have to go to Shimmer Ridge and summon the demon.
Undead	Players have to head to the summoning circle in Undercity Sewers. When the demon spawns, you have to defeat it with dots, fear and Haunt.

How to equip the Demonic Grace Rune

Once you have defeated the demon, you will receive the Demonic Grace Rune, however, you have to equip it in order to activate it. WoW players have to open their Equipment menu to find a list of known Runes.

By selecting the Demonic Grace Rune, you will discover that all slots except the legs slot will be unavailable. You have to equip the Rune to your leg gear to activate it.
