The latest update of World Flipper introduced an in-game event, The Shadow Flash Serpent, in which players can defeat Ilco Opus and complete daily missions to obtain rewards.
Overview
World Flipper is a newly released pin-ball mobile game. Its storyline begins when two lost souls caused a shift in the cosmos, and the planets revealed themselves in their full splendour. A boy, who could not remember his past, and a girl, who could not picture her future, met in a forgotten village, a speck of dust in a limitless sky.
For some time, the boy and girl together in peace and friendship. However, fate soon struck like a lightning bolt, bringing with it a power that would change their lives germanely. The power came in the form of Light, who was once a champion in a faraway world, but is now transformed into a rabbit-like creature. The champion is being hunted by agents of the Dark Throne. As if to wake the boy and girl to defeat the evil force, the village rumbled and shifted. Then, the girl stated, “World Flipper activated.”
The game allows players to travel across multiple worlds, each with its own characters to meet and mysteries to solve. Players can also team up with their friends and link skill chains together to defeat nightmarish foes.
World Flipper currently features various characters, also known as units, for players to collect. Each unit is beautifully illustrated, with episodic story arcs for players to unlock. The units are rated in stars; a one-star unit is seen as below average and is typically very easy to obtain, while the five-star units are very rare and difficult to collect.
The units are further divided into different tiers, ranging from the F-tier, to the S+ tier. The F-tier units are generally not the best option for teams, while the S+ tier units are the best in the game. It is important to note that each character has unique skills and abilities. Players should thus carefully consider which characters to use in their team.
Players are able to build multiple teams, such as a wind team, water team, dark team and fire team, among others. It is important that players consider the units in their teams carefully, as some units work better together than others.
World Flipper invites players to participate in various in-game activities, one of which is events. The latest game updates introduced The Shadow Flash Serpent Portal. It highlights four Wind units with increased chances to obtain. Additionally, it features a new Event and Daily missions. If players complete the missions and participate in the event, they will receive bonus Lodestar Beads and unique Armaments.
The Shadow Flash Serpent Spotlight Portal
The most remarkable addition of the latest update is the launch of the new limited-time Shadow Flash Serpent Spotlight Portal. When players use this portal, they have an increased drop rate of pulling the following Wind units:

It is important to note that Helga and Melsele are both four-star units, while Leon and Celtie are five-star units. The portal is an excellent opportunity for players to obtain Celtie, as she is one of the most vital Wind units in World Flipper.
The five-star units have a five percent chance of dropping in general, however, these units have their odds increased to one percent from 0.23 percent. Similarly, the four-star units, which have a 25 percent of dropping, have their odds increased to two percent from 0.807 percent.
The Shadow Flash Serpent event and missions
In addition to the Wind units, players are able to participate in two new limited-time activities. These activities are in the form of missions and an event.
Ilco Opus
The event invites players to defeat Ilco Opus, the Shadow Flash Serpent. Since it is a limited-time activity, players will only be able to challenge the boss between Tuesday, 5 October 2021, and Friday, 22 October 2021.
If players manage to defeat Ilco Opus, they will either receive Gold Ilco Opus Denarius or Silver Ilco Opus Denarius. These currencies can be used to purchase special items, including a five-star Shadow Flash Sword Armament, a Jupiter Element and a four-star Shadowflash Spear Armament.
To purchase the items, players need to select the Event Tab. After the new menu opened, players can select the Item Exchange or Shop icon. In this menu, players should select the Event Item Exchange option.
It is important to note that Boss boosts cannot be used during the event. It is required that players complete chapter one, stages 8-4 to participate in the event.
Daily mission
The other new activity players can participate in is the Shadow Flash Serpent daily missions. Similar to Ilco Opus, players can only do the daily missions during the specific time frame. Players also need to complete the missions every day in order to claim rewards.
It is important to note that some daily missions may require main story progress. The daily missions reset every day. This means that players will not be able to pick up missions that they have missed.
