Gamers are invited to manage their own tiny household in this thrilling mobile game, Virtual Families 3: Our Country Home. As the game’s name suggests, it is part of the classic Virtual Families video game series, and as such, you are likely to experience similar mechanics throughout the series.
In contrast to the previous games, this game allows you to move into a run-down yet comfortable home in the middle of a forest.
The objective of the game is to repair and renovate the house according to your personal taste. As you progress in the game, you may experience malfunctions, similarly to real life. Luckily, there are various ways to solve and repair these problems.
Which malfunctions can occur?
Just like in real life, your tiny household can experience an array of problems and broken items. These issues can range from minor occurrences, which can be fixed very easily, to major problems that can only be fixed by a handyman.
Minor problems, such as clogs, small fires, and leaks can be fixed by family members. However, you first have to purchase the necessary tools and equipment, namely a fire extinguisher or a household toolkit.
Major problems, including broken internet or broken appliances, can only be repaired by a professional person. Bear in mind that repairing or solving a problem can deduct money from your household’s account.
Virtual Families 3: Bugs
As stated previously above, you will experience various real life maintenance issues in Virtual Families, as it is a life simulator. In other words, a family member may be feeling depressed, get sick, adopt a pet, or come across a bug infestation.
Although it is not considered a big problem, it can be quite frustrating for your household members. There is a possibility that they will not continue with their everyday life if there are bugs crawling around the house.
Fortunately, you can get rid of a bug infestation relatively easily. That being said, you cannot drag and drop one of your adult characters by the bugs to get rid of them. Instead, you have to call a professional bug exterminator to remove them.
To do so, you can drag and drop a character older than 14 years old near the telephone inside your house. On the pop-up menu, you will see various options, one of which is the exterminator. After you call, the exterminator will arrive and spray the bugs to remove them.
Bear in mind that the service is not free and that you have to pay for their services. Removing the bugs from your home costs approximately 75 coins, and they will be deducted from your household’s account when the service is completed.
Where is the telephone?
In order to request the exterminator, you need to locate the telephone. You can find the telephone in the office area of your house. Once you have located it, you can drag and drop a character near the phone to have them interact with it and make the call.
A menu will appear that will show an array of available services and specialists you can request. In this scenario, you have to call the exterminator.
How to earn coins in Virtual Families 3
Players will not be able to request an exterminator if they do not have coins in their bank. Your characters have to work to earn coins. You can click on the bank option, which is located in the bottom right corner of the game to keep track of your daily income.
It is advised that you promote characters in their careers to earn more money. Furthermore, you can receive free coins by watching in-game advertisements.
How to upgrade your character
Your character will receive a salary increase if you upgrade them. To upgrade a family member, you need to select the character, then click on their profile which is in the bottom left corner. On the profile page, you will see the “Upgrade me” option.
It is generally found in the top left corner of the menu. After clicking this option, you will discover an array of options that are explained in the table below:
