SWGoH: New TB

The new Territory Battle (TB) in SWGoH is called Rise of the Empire, and it requires specific units, modifiers, and Relic levels.

In this mobile collectible role-playing game, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (SWGoH), players can explore the well-renowned Star Wars galaxy.

Furthermore, there are numerous gaming modes that you can enjoy, including Territory Battles. However, many players are curious about the new Territory Battle.

Gaming modes and content

The game is primarily focused on the player-versus-environment and, therefore, most of the gaming modes in SWGoH invite players to battle against artificial intelligence (AI) enemies.

The following table lists some of the gaming modes that you can enjoy:

Mode Description
Battles Whether you are on the light or dark side, you can progress through maps with various missions
Area This player-versus-player mode invites players to compete against each other’s computer-controlled teams to earn ranks
Galactic War Players can compete against multiple random computer-controlled teams from their Squad Arena to earn rewards
Raids Guilds must utilise teams from each member’s roster to progress through 4 phases in order to complete the raid. You can collect gear and exclusive shards or blueprints

Territory Battles are a player-versus-environment event in which each member of a guild tries to accumulate Territory Points (TP) by completing missions in every territory.

When the guild collects enough TP, they will gain a star, and you can acquire a maximum of 3 stars in a territory. Once you have  a star, you can unlock the following territory.

At the time of writing this, there are 5 Territory Battles that you can participate in, with Rise of the Empire being the latest addition.

It is quite similar to other Territory Battles, so you should make sure that you have the correct characters, Relic Level, and strategy.

Unlike other Territory Battles, the Rise of the Empire Encounters are static. This means that you need to defeat the same enemies in every Encounter every time to enter that battle.

If you are successful in a Territory Battle, you will be rewarded with a new currency, Guild Event Tokens. With this currency you can purchase valuable items in the “Guild Event Shipments” tab.

You can exchange the following items for Guild Event Tokens 3:

Character Shards Materials Gear
  • 5 x Wat Tambor Shards
  • 5 x Ki-Adi-Mundi Shards
  • 5 x Razor Crest Shards
  • 5 x Commander Ahsoka Tano Shards
  • 5 x Maul Shards
  • 5 x Boba Fett, Scion of Jango Shards
  • Omicron Material
  • 2 x Electrium Conductors
  • 2 x Zinbiddle Cards
  • 3 x Impulse Detectors
  • A Gyrda Keypad
  • 5 x Micro Attenuators
  • MK 7 Kyrotech Shock Prod Prototype Salvage
  • MK 9 Kyrotech Battle Computer.

What Relic level is required for Rise of the Empire?

Players must have a specific Relic level to be efficient in a Territory Battle Phase. That being said, not all units that are composed of the correct Relic level are guaranteed to be successful in that phase.

The recommended and minimum Relic level for each phase of Rise of the Empire are:

Phase Recommended level Minimum level
1 6 5
2 7 6
3 8 7
4 9 8
5 9 9
6 9 9

If your Relics have a lower level, it is advisable that you do not participate in the Territory Battle, as you will likely struggle to defeat enemies.

What missions do you have to complete in Rise of the Empire?

Every territory has missions that players can complete to get Territory Points. The current missions that you can complete are Deployment, Platoon, Combat, and Special. Every territory has Deployment, Combat, and Platoon missions.

Special missions will only be in select territories and require specific units to complete. Keep in mind that units can only be deployed to one territory and can only be used in 1 Platoon, Special, or Combat mission in that territory.

You can complete Platoon, Combat, and Deployment missions repeatedly, but Special missions can only be completed once.
