STFC: Territory Season 2

The second season of Territory Capture in STFC implemented numerous changes to improve Commanders’ gaming experience

Star Trek Fleet Command’s developer, Scopely, recently announced that season 2 of Territory Capture began on Tuesday, 23 January 2023.

This essentially means that the entire Territory Capture map has been reset, and Scopely announced that there are various changes introduced with the new season.

Scopely allegedly introduced the changes after receiving player feedback. In the previous season, there were 3 territories that had the Monaveen Construction Yard and it allowed players to procure Monaveen blueprints.

The biggest change implemented with the new season is the Monaveen Construction Yard which will also be a T2 Service in several territories.

Commanders below level 40 may think that they have no use for the Monaveen, however, according to YouTuber, Rev Deuce, you will need the Monaveen when you reach level 40.

Not only did Scopely implement changes to the 2-star territories, but they also made several changes to the 3-star territories.

Allegedly, the services will rotate between the 3-star territories, which means that you will have to travel across the map if you prefer a specific service.

The announcement also revealed that all Isogen mining nodes inside a territory have had their amounts increased by 2.5. Several players love this change as Isogen can be used to collect personal resources and Alliance resources.

Since the nodes are now 2.5 times bigger, you have to be careful when you mine them as other players can attack you and steal your Raw Isogen. Additionally, Scopely also announced that the Season Pass Rewards have been updated.

Players will therefore receive new rewards through the new Season Pass.

Monaveen Construction Yard

The Territory Season 2 update revealed that the Monaveen Construction Yard is now a T2 Service in several territories.

Players can therefore find the service in Zhian, Hoobishan, Vantar, Hrojost and Abilakk. It can also be found in Tezera, Duportas, Bimasa and Brijac.

Alliances can also capture Burran, Avansa and Roshar to use the Monaveen Construction Yard. Keep in mind that there may be several Alliances attempting to capture these territories to benefit from the Monaveen Construction Yard.

It can therefore be said that it will not be easy to capture one of these territories and we recommend that you use your strongest crew and vessel to defeat the opponents.

Updated Season Pass Rewards

With the second season of Territory Capture comes a new Season Pass. Players can progress through the Season Pass to earn a range of rewards.

Unlike the previous season, the second season is focusing on Chronometric Particles, Ent E Officer Sourcing, Syndicate XP, Borg Cube upgrade and Research Materials.

Keep in mind that you may have to complete specific tasks or objectives to advance in the Season Pass to earn the updated rewards.

Territory Capture details

In order to participate in season 2 of the Territory Capture, you need to be at least level 15 with a warp range of 20 or higher.

Additionally, you need to be part of an Alliance, as it is an Alliance-exclusive activity. If you meet these requirements, keep an eye out for the “Unlocking the Origin Sector” bundle and the “Origin Sector” missions to progress through the Territory Capture.

Once you have entered the Territory Capture, remember that there are no level restrictions around player-versus-player ship combat. This essentially means that any STFC player is allowed to attack your vessel in Origin Space.

Every zone has a scheduled takeover time and during this time, Alliances can sign up to join that zone’s takeover and score points.

The Alliance that scores the most points will be the owners of that zone. Once your Alliance owns a zone, you will benefit from owner-exclusive housing, owner-exclusive mining as well as an array of services.
