STFC: Hysperian Trivia

During STFC’s Hysperian Trivia event, you have to answer a series of questions and complete tasks to earn points.

You can encounter legendary Star Trek characters, storylines, locations and ships in this adventurous video game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC). In addition to the main arc, you can participate in numerous events.

Some events, such as the Hysperian Trivia event, test players’ knowledge about Star Trek’s lore.

In-game events

Scopely, the game’s developer, regularly hosts in-game events for gamers to enjoy. If you participate in these limited-time activities, you have to complete certain objectives to earn rich rewards.

Purge the Plague	Tuesday, 19 September 2023	Players have to destroy Swarm hostiles to score in this event
Vanquish the Undead	Wednesday, 20 September 2023	Commanders can earn points by defeating Borg Probes or hostiles

STFC: Hysperian Trivia

In addition to the above-mentioned events, you can participate in the Hysperian Triva activity.

The event’s official description for this event reads, “Salutations, Commander! Doth thou have deep knowledge of Hysperian Lore? Prove thyself and answer challenging questions to earn great rewards!”

The Hysperian Trivia event began on Monday, 18 September 2023 and it will conclude on Wednesday, 20 September 2023.

During this time, you have to complete Hysperian Trivia events to score, though only Commanders level 10 and higher can participate in this event.

Since it is a solo milestone event, you cannot request help from Alliance members or friends. This trivia consists of 5 questions that you have to answer. Every question has 4 possible answers, each with a corresponding activity.

This means that you have to answer the question by completing a certain task and only when the task is complete, will you earn points.

What is HF?

As shown in the table, you have to use Hailing Frequencies in Fibble to answer the questions. Hailing Frequencies were introduced to STFC some time ago, and it is essentially a way to communicate with other players.

You can therefore show peaceful intentions or trick other players into an ambush. You have to use a hailing frequency cosmetic to complete the task.

Commanders can acquire HF by participating in certain events, through the battle pass or from the in-game store.

Hysperian Lore

According to Star Trek lore, the Hysperians were a group of Humans who colonized the planet, Hysperia.

They were considered Ren Faire types, which means that their culture was based on popular concepts during Earth’s Renaissance period, combined with elements of fantasy.

Their lives were full of mythical adventure – they kept dragons for pets, lived in castles and ate mutton.
