STFC Commanders can research 2 Borg Cube nodes to unlock powerful bonuses for their new vessel, the Borg Cube.
As the Commander of a starbase in Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), you have to forge alliances, conquer your enemies and build an epic fleet.
Players can experience epic conflict, collect, build and upgrade iconic ships, recruit legendary characters and complete missions in space.
Borg Cube Research
A recent STFC update announced that players level 28 and higher can add the Borg Cube vessel to their fleet. This ship is unlike any other ship in STFC, as it grows in power alongside its Commander.
In addition to the new ship, the update also introduced new research that you can unlock specifically for the Borg Cube.
At the time of writing, there are only 2 research nodes for the Borg Cube, namely Borg Cube Warp Range and Borg Cube Weaponry.
As the name implies, the Borg Cube Warp Range research increases the Borg Cube vessel’s Warp Range.
The Borg Cube Weaponry, on the other hand, increases base damage for the Borg Cube by a specific percentage.
Keep in mind, though, that there are certain requirements that you must meet to complete the Borg Cube research.
In order to complete the Borg Cube research, you need to meet the following requirements:
|Level||Borg Cube Weaponry requirements||Borg Cube Warp Range requirements|
Borg Cube Research Effects
As previously mentioned, each Borg Cube research node can offer your vessel unique effects , however, the bonuses increase as the level of the node increases.
The effects of each node at different levels are as follows:
|Level||Borg Cube Weaponry effects||Borg Cube Warp Range effects|
When do the Borg Cube Research nodes unlock?
In order to unlock the Borg Cube Research nodes in STFC, you have to be at a specific level.
The Borg Cube Warp Range node requires that players are level 34, and the Borg Cube Weaponry node requires that you are level 28.
Once you reach these levels, you will be able to unlock these nodes, which will provide your Borg Cube with amazing bonuses.
