A recent STFC update revealed that for the first time ever, Commanders can test their skills in a unique mini-game, Battle Simulator.
You can encounter famous Star Trek characters in an epic, galaxy-spanning storyline in this adventurous video game, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC).
Players will assume the role of a Commander, who is in charge of a starbase, and you have to build the most powerful empire in the galaxy.
For the first time ever in STFC, Commanders can enjoy the Battle Simulator, which is an exciting mini-game.
You can engage with iconic starships by battling them in simulations, which are meant to make the early journey of new players more exciting.
These battle simulations will essentially form part of the initial Field Training exercises, however, this does not mean that veteran players should not test their skills with the simulation.
To begin the mini-game, click on the satellite hovering over your base.
During the Battle Simulator you have to attack strategically and therefore, we recommend that you watch the animated spin and click to damage your enemies.
Since critical hits will maximize your destructive power, you should always aim for that.
You can tap on the screen when the arrows are aligned to get a perfect shot. Keep in mind, however, that you can change weapons during the mini-game to get an advantage over your enemies.
How many levels are in the Battle Simulator?
According to the update, Commanders can fight through 10 levels of opponents to earn rich rewards. It is unknown whether there are certain requirements that must be met before you can progress through the levels or not.
However, as mentioned above, this activity is essentially aimed at early-game players, which can indicate that there are no level or power requirements to be met.
The better you perform in the Battle Simulator, the quicker you will be able to earn rewards.
However this does not mean that you should rush to complete the levels. Commanders should always attempt to shoot a perfect shot by aligning the arrows.
If you complete all 10 levels of the mini-game you can earn a full Captain Kirk officer unlock as well as a Kirk avatar among others.
Even though most veteran players will already have Captain Kirk in their officer collection, we recommend that they still complete the mini-game to test their skills.
How long does the Battle Simulator take to complete?
On the official Discord channel, several players have shared their mini-game experience. Some STFC Commanders were able to complete it in a few minutes, while others struggled to align the arrows to get the perfect shots.
It is therefore impossible to know how long you will take to complete the mini-game, however, we recommend that you do not rush it as it’s a great opportunity to test your skills.
