Overview
Raid: Shadow Legends is a fantasy-themed turn-based, mobile game that is set in the fictional world of Teleria. The world has recently been colonized by the Dark Lord, Siroth. It is thus up to the players to retake the world.
The game features various adventures for players to take part in. However, it is recommended that players familiarize themselves with the Affinity system before they participate in one of the in-game activities.
There are four types of distinct Affinities in the game, and players will need to have knowledge of them all to succeed. Three of them exist in balance with one another, but the fourth offers no particular disadvantages or advantages over the others.
The following table indicates the name of the Affinity and its properties:

Once players understand all the Affinities, they are able to assemble an army of Champions. The players will use their Champions for battles in deserts, temples, dungeons and castles which are defended by enemies.
When players first start playing Raid, they will have to play a tutorial mission to learn the gameplay and mechanics. After the tutorial, players can choose their first Champion.
It is important to note that there are four types of Champions: Defence, Health Point, Support and Attack. Players should thus choose their first Champion wisely.
Players are able to collect more Champions by using Shards, which contain the souls of ancient warriors. Once the players have obtained the required Shards, they can summon a warrior at the in-game Portal.
It is important to note that there are four different Shards, and each summons a different type of Champion. The following table indicates the different Shards and the rarity of warriors each Shard can summon:

Raid: Shadow Legends: Void Shards
Void Shards are a premium resource in Raid. As mentioned above, players will need to collect Shards to unlock and summon Champions. However, since Shards are a premium resource, they are very hard to obtain.
How to obtain Void Shards
One of the ways players can obtain Void Shards is through the campaign. Players will be able to collect three Void Shards if they complete the normal or hard campaign mode.
However, players need to complete them all on three stars. This method is fairly easy and players do not have to spend a lot of time on it.
Players are also able to obtain Void Shards through the Daily Reward system. On days 12, 29, 42, 53, 72 and 81, players will receive a Void Shard. However, players will need to log into the game every day to receive the reward. If players do not log into the game, they will not receive the rewards.
Players can obtain the Shards by completing the daily in-game quests. If players complete the quests every day, they will obtain one Void Shard and one Sacred Shard every 30 days.
Completing the Arbiter missions and challenges is not only important for players’ account progress, but they also offer great rewards, including Void Shards. However, the Void Shards will drop randomly and it is not guaranteed that players will obtain a Shard using this method.
Another method to obtain Void Shards is the referral program. If players invite their friends to play Raid: Shadow Legends, they will be able to earn three Void Shards and additional rewards. However, players will only obtain the Shards once their friends have reached level 30.
