One of the bosses you will face in Raid: Shadow Legends’ Doom Tower is Iragoth the Eternal Dragon, and you require certain statistics to be successful.
Raid: Shadow Legends is a fun mobile game that consists of role-playing and adventure elements. It invites players to step into the fantasy world of Teleria, colonised by the Dark Lord, Siroth. It is up to you to restore harmony and peace by defeating the Dark Lord.
The game features numerous activities for you to participate in. You can collect Champions, join Faction Wars, gather resources and complete the campaign.
Moreover, players can challenge themselves in the Doom Tower, explore dungeons, join clans and experience the player-versus-player gaming mode in the Arena.
What is the Doom Tower?
One of the activities you can enjoy in the game is the Doom Tower. You will only be able to access this feature once you have reached level 40. It consists of 120 floors, each of which consist of 3 waves of different enemy Champions.
Completing 1 floor will unlock the following floor and you will receive a one-time reward. Reputedly, every tenth floor features 1 of 8 bosses that you need to defeat to move on to the next floor. Players should remember that the bosses will be different for each rotation.
Before you enter the Doom Tower, you will be able to select your difficulty level. You can either select the normal mode, or the hard mode if you are up for a challenge.
It would be helpful, though, to start with the normal mode to get comfortable with the mechanics and content before moving on to the hard mode.
Raid: Shadow Legends’ Iragoth the Eternal Dragon
Iragoth the Eternal Dragon is one of the bosses that are part of the second rotation in the Doom Tower. Similarly, to the other bosses, he features active skills which makes defeating him that much more difficult. Additionally, this boss has powerful statistics which will put your Champions to the test.
Iragoth the Eternal Dragon’s Skills
The Eternal Dragon is joined by Eternal Priests and Eternal Guards in the battle. They help him stay alive for a longer period of time. Moreover, both of them have unique skills that can cause damage to your Champions.
The following table indicates Iragoth the Eternal Dragon’s skills, with a description of each:
|This skill attacks all enemies while applying a block active skill debuff for 1 turn.
|The boss attacks all enemies. He also inflicts bonus damage for every turn remaining on all enemy skills’ cooldowns. Moreover, he applies a fear debuff on enemies with no skills on cooldown.
|Once activated, he will attack all enemies. This skill also places all enemy skills on cooldown. Additionally, it fills Iragoth’s turn metre by 5 percent for every turn remaining on enemy skills cooldowns.
Required statistics for your Champions
It is recommended that you use Champions that have good Accuracy and Speed statistics. You will also need a great amount of health points and defence to survive the boss’s damage. In normal mode, you will face the boss on floor 40, 80 and 120 in the Doom Tower.
It is advised that you consider the following statistics for your team:
- Resistance: More than 275
- Accuracy: More than 125
- Speed: More than 161
- Health Points: At least 30 000
- Defence: 2800
How to defeat the boss
As previously mentioned, Iragoth the Eternal Dragon is accompanied by Eternal Priests and Eternal Guards. Killing the Eternal Priest first is advisable, as this ensures that his passive skill will not grant the boss an extra turn.
Next, you want to defeat one of the Eternal Guards while keeping the other one alive. It is to be noted that the boss will sometimes be healed if you follow this strategy, but it could also allow you to cause more damage to the boss.
Bringing a form of block or cleanse debuffs into the fight will be beneficial to you. This will allow you to avoid the block active skill debuffs.
Keep in mind that the boss is immune to any turn metre or decrease speed effects. Additionally, he is immune to poisons, which means you can only deal damage with skills.
Even though you can use any Champions in your team to defeat the boss, some Champions perform better than others in the fight. Therefore, it is advised that you use the following Champions:
- Drexthar Bloodtwin
