Sega recently added the Neos Justitean 8-star weapon series to PSO2: NGS and players can use it as a multi-weapon in battle.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (PSO2: NGS) is a thrilling video game that invites players to explore the vast open world of Halpha.
As part of the Artificial Relict to Keep Species (ARKS) organisation, you have to team up with a mysterious ally to defeat powerful threats.
PSO2: NGS’s developer, Sega, recently announced that a new weapon series, which is called Neos Justitean, will be released.
Star rated weapons
PSO2: NGS has several weapons for you to collect, and each weapon has a star rating ranging from 1-star to 8-star weapons. The star rating indicates how powerful and how rare a weapon is.
This means that a 1-star weapon is not exceptionally powerful, and it is quite common. 8-star weapons are considered the best weapons in the game, which means that they are very rare. Players who are just starting to play PSO2: NGS usually use 1-star weapons.
However as you reach higher levels, you need to farm better weapons. The ultimate goal is to equip your character with powerful 8-star weapons.
PSO2 NGS: Neos Justitean
In early February 2023, Sega added several new features to the game. There are new activities, new weapons, new quests, and a new collaboration event that you can participate in. You can now also collect 2 new 8-star weapons in PSO2: NGS.
Neos Astraean and Neos Justitean are regarded as some of the best weapons in PSO2: NGS as they provide your character with several benefits. Neos Justitean can create multi-weapon with the Neos Astraean weapon series.
That being said, the Neos Justitean series is weaker than the Neos Astraean in terms of its basic performance, but it possesses the Light attribute. Although it is not considered as strong as the Astraean, the Justitean has several features which are listed below:

How to acquire Neos Justitean
In order to acquire a Neos Justitean weapon, you have to complete limited-time quests and participate in events as it is tradeable in the Personal shop. The Drill: Plateau Clean-Up Operation is a drill quest for which gamers need 2878 battle power.
This is because the average enemy level in this mission is 65. Low-level players thus cannot vanquish the enemies to get the weapon. In order to access the quest, you have to go to the Quest Counter in the regions’ main cities.
Keep in mind that this quest is only available until Tuesday, 14 February 2023. If you are interested in collecting the weapon, it is advisable that you participate in this activity as much as possible.
Neos Justitean multi-weapon features
As previously explained, the Neos Justitean is a multi-weapon which is compatible with the 8-star Neos Astraean weapon series. When you use both of these weapons, you will deal an additional 15 percent damage to enemies who are weak to light.
Furthermore, you will deal 10 percent additional damage to enemies who are not weak to light. You should use both of these weapons, as they allow you to deal additional damage to strong enemies.
Upgrading Neos Justitean
There are several ways that you can upgrade your Neos Justitean in PSO2: NGS. The first way is to enhance the weapon through the Item Lab in Central City. Enhancement requires another weapon, N-Grinder, and a specified amount of N-Meseta.
You can also limit break your weapon, which increases the maximum enhancement level. However, this process requires Arms Refiners.
Moreover, you can unlock potential, which increases the power of the weapon substantially and provides unique abilities to your character.
Potential unlocking requires N-Meseta and minerals, but when you reach a certain level, it also requires N-EX-Cubes. Furthermore, you can add Augments to your Justitean to increase its damage output, maximum health points, and Photon Points.
