PSO2 NGS: Blizzardium locations

There is no guarantee that you will get a Blizzardium while farming in PSO2: NGS, however, you may get one on a rocky mountain north of Deepwell Tower.

Players are invited to put their strategic and tactical abilities to the test in this role-playing video game, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (PSO2: NGS). This game is an updated version of the classic video game, Phantasy Star Online 2.

Since this version was released 10 years after its predecessor, you can expect new graphics, content, and gameplay. PSO2: NGS takes place on a fictional planet called Halpha, approximately 1000 years after the events of Oracle.

You can become part of the Artificial Relict to Keep Species (ARKS) to team up with a peculiar ally to combat a common enemy: the DOLLS.

As you advance in the game, you will discover distinctive weapons and gear sets, all of which can be used to improve your character.

What is the purpose of gear and weapon sets?

Players can procure a variety of gear and weapon sets as they progress in the game. It is worth noting that every set has unique attributes and abilities. Some sets can provide your character with a buff, while others can increase your statistics.

The main purpose of weapons and gear is to increase your character’s strength, to deal damage to enemies, and to protect your character(s) from damage.

It is advisable that you change and upgrade your gear regularly because the game’s content increases in difficulty, which, in turn, means that you cannot wear low-level gear if you are experiencing endgame content.

PSO2 NGS: Blizzardium locations

PSO2:NGS’ developer, Sega, recently introduced a new weapon set called Kaizaar Katana. To purchase a weapon from this set, players need to acquire Blizzardium; an incredibly rare mineral.

Unfortunately, this mineral can only be obtained from the rocky areas of Kvaris. There are many methods you can use to procure Blizzardium, but some are more time-consuming than others.

It is important to keep in mind that there are no specific locations from which you are guaranteed to get it. That being said, players have claimed that they have found multiple Blizzardiums near the Deepwell Tower.

To acquire a daily Blizzardium, you have to travel to the Deepwell Tower, and abandon the quest. Then, you have to go up the South Western tower, where you must climb the rocky mountain until you have reached its highest point.

Players are allegedly guaranteed to find a Blizzardium at this location every day. The Blizzardium only spawns during a storm, though, or when it is snowing.

You should remember that you can only acquire a Blizzardium using this method once a day. Alternatively, players can destroy frozen crates in the Kvaris area using a hoverboard, or throw rocks at the crates to break them.

There is no guarantee that you will get Blizzardium by destroying crates, as these chances are randomly generated.

Although this method takes advantage of the frozen crates having Blizzardium as there is a trial that spawns in the Belugana Ruins. Allegedly, the trial has frozen crates that may contain the rare mineral.

Silver Peaks Kvaris Pack

Players can purchase the Silver Peak Kvaris Pack with real-life money to get 10 Blizzardiums. It is noteworthy that purchasing in-game items with real money is not mandatory. You do not have to spend money to procure a Blizzardium, but you can farm it in the Kvaris region.

To purchase the pack, you can either go to the in-game AC shop, or you can purchase a voucher from the Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, or from Steam. The pack costs approximately $ 19.99 and in it you get the following items:

  • Kvaris Wardat
  • Kvaris Wardat Hair
  • MTN: Dash – Short Ski
  • MTN: Glide – Short Ski
  • STP: Meri – Thank you!
  • Premium Set
  • Material Storage Use
  • Salon Free Pass
  • Blizzardium
  • Kvar Yellow
  • Kvar Purple
  • Color Change Pass
  • Augmentation Success Rate

The Treasure Shop

One of the shops you can find in the game is the Treasure Shop, which sells unique items in exchange for either SG or N-Meseta.

Players should note that the items that are available in the shop refresh from a pool of select items every day, but they can be refreshed once a day for free. You can purchase Blizzardium from the Treasure Shop for approximately 20 000 N-Meseta.

You should only use this method if you have extra N-Meseta, or if you desperately need additional Blizzardium, as it is recommended that players save their currencies for more beneficial items.

Kaizaar Katana

The Kaizaar Katana weapon set has powerful, 7-star weapons that can deal a lot of damage to enemies. It is worth noting that you need approximately 150 Blizzardiums to craft a weapon.

Additionally, players need 900 Icicle Orbs, 60 Icicle Cubes, and a Rokz Roughewn Katana. Once you have these items, you can craft a 7-star weapon of your choice.
