In Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, players can summon Tarakona, a newly-released 4-star Familiar that has extraordinary skills.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is an acclaimed mobile game that combines battle and role-playing elements with exploration aspects. The game is part of the classic Ni no Kuni game franchise, which means that you are likely to encounter similar gameplay and content.
Unlike its predecessor, Cross Worlds invites you to enjoy content with likeminded players, as it features a multiplayer mode.
Even though there is an array of activities and occasional events you can participate in; it is recommended that you focus on progressing in the main campaign. As you advance in the game, you will get the opportunity to acquire Familiars, one of which is Tarakona.
Familiars
A Familiar’s main purpose in the game is to aid you in your adventures and travels. Familiars are Warriors of Heart, and they are born from everything in the fictional world that has a heart. In the early stages of the game, players can take on a quest in which they have to deliver a mysterious egg.
Once the egg has hatched, you will get your first Familiar, whose heart should be linked to your character’s heart. Luckily this is a simple task, as you only have to allocate the Familiar to one of your character’s available slots.
Players can acquire more Familiars as they advance in the game, but they should bear in mind that some Familiars are more beneficial than others.
Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds: Tarakona
The game’s developer, Netmarble Neo, occasionally introduces new activities, content, and Familiars to keep players interested and engaged in the game. They recently introduced Tarakona, who is a 4-star Familiar born from the torch fire of Ignis’ altar.

Similarly to other Familiars, Tarakona has a range of elements and skills. His skills are fire and attack, and they are explained in the table below:
Skill name | Description | Awakening tier 0 | Awakening tier 10 |

Moreover, it knocks down enemies for 1.5 seconds and increases damage by 1000 percent on the Sealed Genie’s Island | It deals 460 percent of the attack as damage to enemies. How to acquire Tarakona
To celebrate Tarakona, Netmarble Neo is hosting an in-game event. The Tarakona Rate Up Summoning Event commenced on 6 July 2022 and will conclude on 3 August 2022. During this time, players have a higher probability of summoning Tarakona from the in-game summoning feature.
Players can only use the Summon Shop after completing the main Tainted Autumn Forest quest. The following table lists guaranteed summoning information:
Level | Requirement | Guaranteed Summon |
1 | Summon 100 times | You are guaranteed to summon a 4-star Familiar |
2 | Summon 200 times | Players are guaranteed to summon the 4-star Tarakona Familiar |
Can Tarakona be improved?
There are a number of ways to improve Tarakona, but it is recommended that you first focus on increasing his level. When he has reached level 30, you can increase his star rating using Evolution Fruit of the same elements.
Furthermore, you can feed Tarakona Jellies to increase his attack, health, and defence and players can use duplicate Tarakona Familiars to awaken the original Familiar. You can also equip Tarakona with a toy, which will increase his health, attack, and defence.
Is Tarakona an endgame Familiar?
Tarakona is seen as one of the best Familiars for player-versus-environment and player-versus-player gaming modes, as he does not need to be changed for 6 months after you get him. Tarakona can clear endgame content if you use him in the correct team formation.
