Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds: Kingdom Dungeon

The Kingdom Dungeon in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds contains a monster that you have to defeat to earn rewards, however, you must first be part of a Kingdom.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is an exciting mobile game that combines combat and role-playing elements with exploration activities. As the name of the game suggests, it is part of the classic Ni no Kuni video game franchise, and as such, you will experience similar aspects and gameplay throughout the games in the franchise.

Unlike its predecessors, this game allows players to enjoy the game with friends, as it has a multiplayer gaming mode. Additionally, you can complete quests, summon Familiars, discover Vistas, and join a Kingdom, among other activities.

Players should note that some activities may initially be locked, however, they can access them once they have met the requirements to unlock the activities.

What is a Kingdom?

In the game, players will follow the story of a beta-tester for a fantasy video game called Soul Diver which transports the characters to the world of Ni no Kuni. As you advance in the game, you will discover Kingdoms that are quite similar to guilds or clans in other role-playing titles.

They are enormous lands that function as the major governing body in Soul Diver. They serve as a platform for players to get to know each other and to enjoy the game together. Once you are part of a Kingdom, you can participate in gaming modes that are exclusive to the Kingdom, such as Kingdom Dungeon.

The game’s developers, Netmarble, often introduce new features and activities to keep gamers interested and engaged in the game. They recently added a new feature called Kingdom Dungeon, which you can only enjoy if you are part of a Kingdom.

Furthermore, your Kingdom has to be at least on level 3 to unlock this feature. Keep in mind that only the Kingdom Lord or the Steward can initiate this activity by going to the menu and selecting “Community.” Players should then click on “Dominion” before selecting Kingdom Dungeon.

To participate in the Kingdom Dungeon, you must first clear the Reputation quest, Nameless Kingdom: Forgotten Ancient Shrine. You can only clear this quest individually, which means that everyone in the Kingdom has to complete it before they can partake in the Kingdom Dungeon.

It is important to note that this activity is only active once a week. Depending on the access status, the display changes from unavailable to available. After entering the dungeon, your Kingdom’s Steward and Lord can change the non-member entry settings.

When you have cleared the dungeon, you can reset it to clear it again. However, there are certain requirements that have to be met to reset it, which are:

Tier Required Kingdom Gold Resets available
6 1 500 000 1
5 1 250 000 1
4 1 000 000 1
3 450 000 1
2 250 000 1
1 30 000 1

Players earn various rewards for clearing the Kingdom Dungeon. However, clearing higher tiers allegedly yields greater rewards. That being said, the content’s difficulty increases as the tier increases.

Can you obtain new achievements for completing the Kingdom Dungeon?

Similarly to other activities in the game, you can complete achievements related to the Kingdom Dungeon. These achievements generally offer players rewards once they are completed. You can unlock the following Kingdom Dungeon rewards:

  • Help other Kingdoms clear their Kingdom Dungeon
  • Clear Kingdom Dungeon a certain number of times
  • Clear Shrine Swamp a certain number of times

It is important to note that each of these achievements can only be attained once on every account. This means that if you reach an achievement with 1 character, it automatically applies to the others as well.

Is there a new collection and adventure record available?

The game’s developers also released a new speciality and skill that can be procured from the King Dungeon. The Treant Statue will be added to your Adventure Record and the Earth Barrage will be included in your Codex.

How to join a Kingdom

You have to be part of a Kingdom to participate in the Kingdom Dungeon, as previously stated. Players should note that they can only apply to be part of a Kingdom once they have reached level 20. Once you have unlocked this feature, you can either join or create a Kingdom.

However, you first have to complete the Reputation quest, Evermore: Survivors of the Nameless Kingdom. You can then go to the Community tab, where you will find the Kingdom icon which allows you to apply for a Kingdom.

Alternatively, you can click on the “Create a Kingdom” option to start your own guild, but this costs a lot of Diamonds, which is a premium in-game currency.
