Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds: Inventory Space

Your inventory can fill up quickly in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, luckily there are a few methods you can use to declutter your space.

Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is a thrilling mobile game that combines role-playing elements with exploration and combat systems. Since the game forms part of the popular Ni No Kuni series, players can expect to experience similar mechanics and content in this game as they would in others in the series.

Unlike its predecessors, Cross Worlds is a multiplayer game, meaning you can discover the world with your friends. As you advance in the game, you can collect a variety of items, gear, accessories, and consumables.

Fortunately, characters do not have to carry these items in their hands, as each character has a backpack, otherwise referred to as their inventory. Before you can place items in your inventory, you must create a character and complete the game’s tutorial mission.

Character classes

Players can play with 5 varying classes, each of which has unique personalities, powers, and appearances. Keep in mind that you can only play with 1 character at a time, however, you can change your character by returning to the main menu of the game.

Every class takes on a specific role on the battlefield which is determined by its skills. Destroyers are tough warriors who can deal a lot of damage, while Engineers have the ability to heal allies.

Furthermore, a Swordsman deals damage to enemies with a one-handed sword, whereas Rogues depend on their bows and arrows. Witches can adapt to any situation, thanks to their various skill effects.

Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds: Inventory Space

Inventory space may seem like an insignificant aspect; but it plays an essential role in the game. This is because your character cannot store anything without it. That being said, players often find that their inventory becomes full at some point, meaning that they are forced to get rid of some of their belongings to make space for new items.

This can be quite frustrating as many players do not want to sell their items because they may need them at a later stage. This also means that you cannot loot new items when your inventory space is full. Luckily, there are various methods you can use to declutter your inventory without losing many items.

Weapons and armour can take up a lot of inventory space, so it is advised that you use low-level weapons, or weapons that you do not use to level up your primary weapons. You can do this by clicking on the main weapon and selecting ‘Power up’ and ‘Polish.’ You will then be able to consume weapons to increase your primary weapon’s level.

Alternatively, you can sell the items in your inventory to earn gold. You can sell items directly from your inventory by clicking on the shop icon in the bottom right corner. You should note that only food, potions, materials, and exchange badges can be sold through this shop.

You can also expand your inventory space but this is quite an expensive feature. One additional slot costs approximately 15 Diamonds. Diamonds are the premium in-game currency that can be purchased with real-life money, however, every player receives some free Diamonds when they first start playing the game.

Can additional characters increase your inventory space?

Players can allegedly level all their characters up to level 20 to receive an additional 100 inventory slots, and if you level up them to level 40, you will receive another 100 inventory slots. This method can take some time, as you have to play another character and complete quests to gain experience points.

Once your character has gained enough experience points, they will reach the next level. Even though you have to invest time and effort into this method, you do get a lot of additional inventory space.

Do your characters share inventory space?

As previously mentioned, you can have one character of each class per account, but bear in mind that your characters will share the same player name. This is because the name is linked to your account, not to your characters.

Furthermore, all the characters will share the same Familiar information, inventory, and currency. You can use the same potions, food, gear, and weapons for all your characters. However, sharing an inventory can be a disadvantage, as the inventory space fills up quite quickly if you play on all characters.

Should you use your Diamonds to increase inventory space?

You can expand your inventory by using Diamonds, but this is quite an expensive purchase. This is because it costs 15 Diamonds to increase your inventory with 1 slot. Many players choose to level up another character instead of using their Diamonds. Even if you can afford it, it is advisable that you save your Diamonds for more useful items or features.
