In Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, Combat Power refers to how strong your character is, and it can be increased using various methods.
You are invited to explore the fictional world in this role-playing mobile game, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. As the name of the game suggests, it is part of the famous Ni no Kuni series, which means that players can enjoy similar content and gameplay throughout the series.
Unlike its predecessors, this game allows you to play the game with friends, as it features a new multiplayer mode.
The game currently offers players 5 characters to play with on the same account. Every character has unique skills and talents that can be used to defeat enemies. There are various activities you can enjoy; but it is advised that you focus on the main story and on increasing your Combat Power (CP).
What is Combat Power?
Combat Power is one of the main attributes that characters have, and it defines how powerful and well-equipped the character is. It is essentially a power measure that allows players to assess their combat capabilities. Combat Power can also be used to determine whether your character is ready for a specific activity or not.
It is important to note that you need to increase your CP as you have to defeat powerful enemies to progress further in the game. Though CP may seem like a simple aspect, it plays a crucial role in the game, as you cannot clear difficult content without it.
Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds: How to Increase CP
It is recommended that players focus on increasing their CP from the early stages of the game. This way, you will not struggle to increase it at a later stage. There are many methods you can use to increase your CP; however, some methods require more time and resources than others.
The most effective way to increase your CP is by completing the main story and reputation quests. You should never skip these quests unless you lack the strength to complete them. This not only boosts your CP, but also unlocks new features and areas in the game.
Another method is to polish your equipment by gathering the material you need to level up, enhance, upgrade, and awaken your equipment. It is worth noting that this method only works once you have obtained an equipment piece of 3-stars or above.
Players can also train their Familiars to increase their CP, but it is recommended that they focus on the 4-star Familiar they summoned at the beginning of the game. This means you should increase this Familiar’s level, go through the evolvement process, and awaken it to increase your CP.
Furthermore, you should join a powerful Kingdom, which is one of the Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds’ guilds. A Kingdom can increase your CP by 1000 points and help you advance in the game.
It is wise to help the Kingdom leader unlock buffs by donating Obsidian and Prisms to the Kingdom. Moreover, players can complete Bounties, as they can reward them with up to 15 000 CP.
Where to farm CP
If you are running low on CP, you may want to farm the Chaos Fields while using potions. That being said, this is a slow process and it is best to activate the AI mode during the evening. You can farm any zone on the world map, but you need approximately 4 potions per night to do this.
Players can earn potions from completing dailies or by purchasing them from the in-game shop. Keep in mind that you have to choose a boss within 8 levels of your current level to get maximum rewards. This means that the boss you choose should either be 8 levels higher or 8 levels lower than your character’s level.
Can collecting costumes and emoticons increase CP?
Costumes and emoticons may seem insignificant to some players, however, collecting these cosmetics can increase your CP significantly. All the costumes and emoticons you procure are recorded in your collection, which offers you permanent statistics.
You should complete quests and gather all the required items, as you will gain more permanent statistics. This is because you have to complete a codex and a collection, so over time, your CP increases greatly.
Do Familiars affect CP?
As previously mentioned, you can focus on improving your 4-star Familiar to increase your CP. However, some Familiars can increase your CP without being upgraded. For example, Ebon Taurex, the free Familiar, offers 16 031 CP when it’s equipped in a Familiar slot. The CP it offers allegedly increases as you improve him.
