Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds: Eggs for cooking

One of the ingredients you need to cook meals in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is eggs, but they can be difficult to acquire.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is a thrilling mobile game that combines role-playing and combat elements with multiplayer features. As the game’s name suggests, it is part of the classic Ni no Kuni series, which means that you can experience similar content throughout the games in the franchise.

However, unlike the previous games in the franchise, Cross Worlds allows players to experience the game with friends. You can partake in an array of events and activities, however, some are locked initially.

Players can gain access to these activities once they have met the requirements to do so. You can collect Familiars, improve your cooking skill, join a Kingdom, complete quests, and meet new people with similar interests.

What is a Kingdom?

Kingdoms are essentially Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds’ guild system, and you can join one once you have completed a few of the main story quests. Keep in mind that you also have to complete a side quest called Kingdom to unlock the guild feature.

Other than being a place for players to gather, Kingdoms also allow you to participate in a few special game modes. You can enjoy the Kingdom Defense, Kingdom Invasion, and Relic Wars, but you should be aware that every activity has specific tasks that you have to complete to receive rewards.

There are various skills you can attain in the game, one of which is cooking. This skill allows you to cook a variety of delicious meals that can influence your character’s statistics. This is because some food has the ability to increase your character’s health or defence, which can be very beneficial to your gameplay.

There are 2 locations that allow you to cook a meal, namely your Familiar Forest and your Kingdom. It is worth noting that the Kingdom’s Kitchen is only unlocked once it has reached level 7. That is when you, as a Kingdom member, can unlock the first food item, Toasty Taiyaki, which requires 5 grain and 5 eggs to make.

The in-game description of this meal reveals that you should find perfectly-sized eggs that fit in the palm of your hand. Even though it also states that eggs are fairly common, they can be quite difficult to acquire. Luckily, there are numerous methods you can use to get eggs.

Players should regularly check the Traveling Merchant, as there is a chance that he may sell eggs. Alternatively, you can battle in the Duel Yard as these battles can reward you with a few eggs if you win.

Players can also purchase eggs from the Kingdom General Store or bid on them in the Kingdom Auction House. Furthermore, the Kingdom Restaurant allegedly also occasionally sells eggs.

That being said, the most common way to get eggs is by defeating field monsters.

How to find the Traveling Merchant

Locating the Traveling Merchant is extremely easy, however, you have to travel to the Conquest Mission non-player character (NPC), Sanson. He is in Evermore, one of the main areas in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds.

Sanson is easy to spot on the map, but you have to at least be on level 40 to talk to him. Once you have interacted with him, a pop-up menu will appear, and you will see a newly added icon in the bottom left corner.

After clicking on the new icon, another pop-up will appear with a certificate icon in the center. You can click on the certificate icon, and then click on the source button, which will be in the top left corner of the pop-up menu.

This will show you the source of the certificate. Players can also look for the Traveling Merchant by clicking on the move button. You can choose between travelling on foot, or using the Fast Travel option.

Field monsters

In every zone of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds you can find varying monsters, and you will get a variety of ingredients if you kill them. Players can find these monsters by opening their world map and clicking on the monsters tab.

This will show you a list of monsters in a specific area, and you can also see which monsters can drop eggs. Make sure to enable the “Drop Info” option to see the loot table of monsters.

Can eggs be traded?

You can also acquire eggs by trading items with other players in the Evermore city. You simply have to travel to the trading part of the city to find a trading stall, or you put one up. You can then trade items that you do not want for items that you need.

It is important to note that since Eggs are a cooking ingredient, they can only be traded for other cooking ingredients.
