MSF: Quicksilver ISO-8

The best ISO-8 class for Quicksilver in MSF is Striker, however, you can experiment with the Raider and Skirmisher classes as well.

In this exhilarating video game, Marvel Strike Force (MSF), players can indulge themselves in the fictional Marvel Universe.

There are several heroes and villains you can collect in the game which are similar those in the Marvel franchise. One of these characters is Quicksilver, and some players have wondered which ISO-8 class they should assign to him.

Who is Quicksilver?

According to Marvel lore, Quicksilver first appeared in the comic book, The Uncanny X-Men, and has since starred in 2 self-titled limited series.

Quicksilver is a mutant, which is a human born with innate superhuman powers, and has the superhuman ability to move at great speeds.

He is the product of genetic experimentation by the High Evolutionary. Quicksilver appears in fiction associated with the X-Men, but he was introduced as an adversary for the superhero team. In later stories, though, he became a superhero himself.

Quicksilver is Scarlet Witch’s twin brother and in most comics, he Magneto’s son and the half-brother of Polaris.

MSF: Quicksilver ISO-8

On Thursday, 20 April 2023, MSF announced that players can now add Quicksilver to their arsenal. Players can purchase Quicksilver from the special limited-time offers, and collect his character shards through the weekly Cosmic Crucible rewards.

This means that you can either purchase Quicksilver or wait until his character shards become available from Cosmic Crucible. Once you have Quicksilver, you can use him in your team formations to defeat enemies.

Before you can use him on the battlefield, you should assign an ISO-8 class to him. Since there are several classes available, players are uncertain about which class they should use for Quicksilver.

From all the ISO-8 classes, Striker is the best for Quicksilver. His follow-up attack is quite powerful, therefore, you need to make the most of it.

Additionally, the class will increase his overall damage. Quicksilver’s Piercing Strikes will be even more powerful with the Striker class.

Furthermore, his charged mechanics will give him more than enough Focus and therefore, he does not need the Skirmisher class to put various Debuffs on enemies. The Raider class is an interesting choice, but Striker is a better option.

According to MSF statistics, 80 percent of players assigned the Striker class to Quicksilver while only 9 percent  assigned the Raider class. Skirmisher, on the other hand, was assigned by 10 percent of players.

You can experiment with the different ISO-8 classes to determine which class works best for your playstyle.

Can you change ISO-8 classes?

It is worth noting that players can change their characters’ ISO-8 classes once they have collected all the ISO-8 crystals to unlock all the ISO-8 classes. You can also change Quicksilver’s ISO-8 class at any time for free.

This feature allows you to experiment with all the ISO-8 classes to figure out which class best suits your needs. We recommend that you experiment with Raider, Skirmisher and Striker before choosing a final class for Quicksilver.

Quicksilver shards in player’s Cosmic Crucible rewards

On Saturday, 22 April 2023, MSF revealed that the mailbox message from that week’s Cosmic Crucible rewards was unintentionally updated. It contained the Quicksilver shards for if a player was ranked Gold 1 or higher in Cosmic Crucible.

However, the shards could only be procured if players had not claimed the rewards already.

MSF announced that they are aware of the issue and that they will send players the shards that they would have received based on their previous week’s Cosmic Crucible ranking.
