MIR4 Classes

MIR4 currently features 5 distinct classes that players can choose from:

  1. Warrior
  2. Sorcerer
  3. Taoist
  4. Lancer
  5. Arbalist

Like most MMORPG games, each class has a unique role and a different set of skills.

Warrior

This class combines heavy defenses and high health stats with adequate damage. This means that the Warrior absorbs tons of damage, as well as dish it out in return.

This balance between offense and defense makes the class a good choice for new players, however, the movement in this class is very clumsy and easily punishable.

Players need to master the movement mechanics and increase the agility stat in the game.

Sorcerer

This class specializes in dishing out both single-target as well as Area of Effect (AoE) damage.

However, her ability to withstand damage is very poor – her only line of defense is the Magic Shield skill. The Magic Shield forms a barrier that blocks some of the damage, in exchange for large amounts of MP.

While the Sorcerer can be quite powerful in the right hands, it is somewhat harder to use than the Warrior.

Players should be cool and calculated, and keep an eye on the mana supply.

Taoist

The Taoist is one of the more complex classes in MIR4, probably the most challenging, since her play style always forces her to be up close and personal to her enemies. She boasts both a speedy play style and devastating melee skills.

This class is ideal for players who love getting close and personal with the enemy, particularly for those well-acquainted with fighting games.

Mastering the Taoist means that players will be able to increase their ranking much easier.

Lancer

It is believed that Lancer is one of the strongest classes in the game. Lancer has the highest damage-per-second (DPS) in MIR4 and has the range to compliment it. This class is a good choice for players who have some experience in playing a MMORPG, but still lack some knowledge.

The critical damage on Lancers, and the high DPS, makes it a must-have class in every party during a raid. Lancers also feature supporting abilities, which make them an amazing team player. It is important to note that Lancers have a high learning curve. It will thus take some time to become better in the game.

Arbalist

This class takes on the role of the archer in the battlefield. The Arbalist class is described as a huntsman who shoots down enemies, using an arbalest enhanced for quick firing. When you choose this class, you can freely switch between tracing and escaping, while shooting a deadly shower of arrows. It is believed that the simplicity that this class provides makes it a very satisfying option to pick and start your journey.

The Arbalist class is entirely dependent on movement control, and if you master it, it will be very difficult to win against you. It is important to note that this class is intended to be used in player-versus-player gaming mode, due to its serious damage and high agility.

However, this does not mean that you cannot enjoy the player-versus-environment gaming mode with this class. Players should remember that the downfall of this class is its little defence statistics. Subsequently, it is very easy to defeat the archer class in battle.
