Though there is a specific formula to calculate a Champion’s damage in Raid: Shadow Legends, most players choose to use a damage calculator.
Raid: Shadow Legends is an exciting video game that contains imaginative role-playing and turn-based battles. The game is set in the fantasy world of Teleria, in which players can take on the role of an ancient Telerian warrior.
It is your responsibility to defeat the Dark Lord, Siroth and restore peace to Teleria. As you advance in the game, you can acquire several characters, also known as Champions.
Every Champion possesses unique skills, abilities, and statistics that can significantly impact your gameplay. You should take note that some Champions can do more damage or heal better than others in certain situations.
How is damage calculated?
The amount of damage your Champion does can be calculated using a specific formula.
The formula to calculate damage is: Total attack (or health points, or defence for health points or defence Champions) × skill multiplier × increase damage from books × crit multiplier × mastery bonuses × chance of affinity bonus × buffs × passives × defence mitigation.
This formula may seem intimidating to many players, as it may appear confusing or too difficult to understand. That is why most players use a damage calculator, which calculates the amount of damage a Champion can do with specific statistics.
Magnarr damage calculator in Raid: Shadow Legends
One of the Champions you can procure in the game is Magnarr, who is an Epic health point (HP) Spirit character that is part of the Demonspawn faction. Since the above-mentioned formula can be quite tricky, most players use a damage calculator instead. Let us use Magnarr as an example.
The damage calculator is much easier to use, as you only need to fill in Magnarr’s statistics, gear, and ratings to view his damage output.
You can click here to view Magnarr’s damage.
Please note that you have to click on “File” and then on “Make a copy” to be able to edit the document. Players have to add his attack statistics and gear statistics in the correct table of the calculator to get the correct results. Additionally, you have to fill in the enemy’s defences in the corresponding table.
You should also add your Masteries in the table according to the Mastery lookup table, which is situated on the right side of the calculator. Your mastery can be determined from your progression in the game.
Can this damage calculator be used for other Champions?
It is worth noting that the damage calculator is not only for Magnarr. Players can apply it to any Champion in the game, though they should make sure that they fill in the calculator with the Champion’s correct statistics, gear, and ratings for accurate results.
Similarly to other Champions, Magnarr has unique skills and abilities to help him on the battlefield. The following table outlines his skills and a description of each:
Once activated, he attacks 1 enemy. This skill has a 45 percent chance of applying a decreased defence debuff for 2 turns. However, it has a 100 percent chance if the target is under a health burn debuff
This skill attacks all enemies while placing an extra hit on them without the health point debuffs
Fan the Flames
It attacks 1 enemy, while applying a debuff spread effect. It takes 2 random debuffs from the target and places them on all enemies under a health debuff
Magnarr heals for 1 percent of their maximum health every time everyone in the battle takes damage from a health debuff
What is a good Magnarr build?
Most players use Magnarr in the Arena gaming mode, as he can be a powerful Arena Nuker in an Arena Offence team. He should be equipped with a Savage Set to ignore a portion of enemies’ defences. He should also wear a Critical Damage Set to gain additional critical damage statistic boosts.
You should prioritise Magnarr’s health, critical rate, critical damage, and speed to maximise his damage output. This will enable him to deal the killing blow to enemies.
