This chapter consists of 2 stages, which you have to complete in order to receive the rewards. To complete the stages, you have to reach the last land tile and defeat the boss.
When you start the stage, you can choose which commander and troops you want to send in. It is recommended that you take the direct and shortest route to the boss.
Stage 1
The first stage reveals that the Uruk-hai led by Ugluk partnered with the Mordor Orcs, who are led by Grishnakh. Their mission is to take Pippi and Merry to Orthanc, where Saruman waits. However, they are ambushed by mounted soldiers, who are carrying the banner of Rohan.
As mentioned above, you should take the direct and shortest route to the boss. In stage one, you will see 2 different paths.
The left side has 8 land tiles which you have to occupy before you reach the boss, while the right side consists of 6 land tiles. It comes as no surprise that many players choose to take the right path, as it features less tiles.
Stage 2
Once you have completed the first stage, you will be able to move on to the second. It reveals that Merry and Pippin meet a very peculiar creature in the forest.
It is a gigantic tree-like character who calls himself an Ent. To complete this stage, you have to reach the last land tile and defeat the boss.
Similar to the first stage, you can decide which commanders and troops you want to send into battle. You should note that this stage takes place in the forest, which means that the land tiles are more difficult to see.
However, you should still aim to take the shortest route to the boss. This might mean that you move in a straight line to finish the stage as quickly as possible.
