You can select one of 10 factions when you first start playing the game. Each faction has a designated area for its members.

This means that if you chose Rohan as your faction, your keep would spawn in the general area of Rohan, while players who selected Mordor as their faction will spawn in the direction of Mordor.

If you are unhappy about your keep’s location, you can relocate it as long as it still falls inside the  borders of your faction. To start the relocation process, you have to meet the requirements. This means your Ring has to be at or above level 15.

It is noteworthy that you have to obtain the relocation ability, which can be purchased in your Fellowship, or Warband’s shop. Keep in mind that this item costs approximately 500 contribution points, which you can get by assisting members of your alliance with construction projects.

Moreover, you have to clear nine tiles in a 3X3 formation. It is recommended that you ensure these tiles are surrounded by resource production tiles. You will also have to recall all of your Commanders before you can relocate.

To finalise the relocation process, you have to click on the new location, and select ‘Build’ before clicking on the ‘Relocate’ option.
