Players can craft fireworks in Minecraft by combining gunpowder, paper and dye, and if they wish to customize their fireworks, they can add different modifiers to the recipe.
Whether players are celebrating with friends after a successful mining expedition, or adding a ton of style to crossbow combats, Minecraft fireworks are surely handy. These fireworks will not leave the players’ creations in ruins; however, they will damage any creature in their path.
To create fireworks in Minecraft, players need to obtain gunpowder by killing a creeper. Even though this task may sound difficult, it is quite easy. Creepers will explode if they get close to a player, so all the player needs to do is hit the creeper and backup before it explodes, then hit it again. Once the creeper is killed, it will drop gunpowder.
After obtaining gunpowder, players need to get some paper. Luckily, paper can be crafted. In order to craft it, players need to farm sugar cane and assort it in the crafting table. Once the player obtains gunpowder and paper, they need to decide which colour they want the firework to be. It does not matter which colour the player uses.
In the crafting table, players need to place a piece of gunpowder next to the dye they want to use. This will make an item called firework star. After obtaining the firework star, players should place paper and gunpowder in the crafting table with it. This will turn the star into three firework rockets.
Players can add more gunpowder to the recipe in order to make the rocket fly higher before it combusts. Players can also add up to eight different colours to the recipe. Glowstone dust can also be added to create a twinkle effect. While a diamond can be added to create a trail effect after the explosion. Both features can be added to the same firework star.
The shape of the firework explosion can be customized by adding different resources to the recipe. When adding a fire charge, it will create a large, spherical explosion. A gold nugget will make a star-shaped explosion, while a head of any type will create an explosion in the shape of a creeper face. It is important to note that only one of these modifiers can be used in a firework star.
