Hitman Sniper: The Shadows is an up-and-coming mobile game developed by Square Enix. It allows you to become a member of The Shadows, who must take down high-level international targets and build your reputation. The objective of the game is to become your own version of a Hitman Sniper.
In February 2022, the developer announced that the game is set to launch on 3 March 2022. Moreover, Square Enix revealed that pre-registration is officially open.
It is believed that Square Enix is creating awareness and building excitement for the game in numerous countries by offering pre-registration rewards. You should note that you can only claim the rewards when the game has officially been launched.
Before the announcement, the developer was teasing players by introducing some of the snipers they can find in the game. Reportedly, there are 6 snipers in the game, each of which have their own unique skills and abilities.
This means that you can select either Stone, Knight, Kolzak, Espelho, Soji or Kiya to be your sniper.
Stone is an innocent man with a criminal record. However, he has a skillset worthy of a master assassin. He assumed a new identity and turned into an assassination as a means of survival. While Knight is a rugged survivalist, but she is as charming as she is calculated.
Knight is infused with a healthy dose of anti-government propaganda, as she takes pride in a well-executed head shot. Kolzak is seen as a highly trained and skilled assassin who constantly refines his tradecraft. However, he prefers to remain in the shadows.
It is alleged that Espelho is the opposite of the sniper stereotype. Behind his engaging smile and enduring enthusiasm, he is a laser accurate assassin who makes decisions within a fraction of a second.
It is unclear if the developer will introduce more snipers when the game officially launches. Even though the official launch date is around the corner, you can still pre-register for the game to receive rewards.
