FFXIV players cannot sell items in another world server, unless they are using the FFXIV Companion App.
Gamers can interact with the environment and other players in this exciting video game, Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV). The game is set in the fictional world of Eorzea, in which you have to complete quests and farm gear to progress in the game.
There are several servers in FFXIV and many players have wondered if they can trade cross servers.
Trading in FFXIV
Nearly every massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) has its own trading feature which allows you to buy, sell, or exchange a range of items.
In FFXIV, the Market Board is a place where adventurers can publish their offers for other players to purchase.
However, you do not need to sell items on the Market Board. You can also sell your items to non-player characters (NPCs) across Eorzea.
Keep in mind that the NPC may not give you the amount of gold that you want for rare items, in which case, it is better to sell it on the Market Board.
FFXIV: Can you trade cross server?
Trading in FFXIV is one of the best ways to acquire in-game currencies. However, some players want to know if it is possible to trade items across different servers. The world visit system allows you to travel to another world within a logical data center.
This system allows you to party with friends, purchase items, and tackle duties in another world. To travel to another world or server, select the “Visit Another World Server ” option from the aetheryte in Limsa Lominsa.
A list of worlds in your logical data center will appear on the screen and you can select any of these servers to travel to. After confirming the transfer, your character will automatically travel to the other world server.
After the world visit window appears, you can no longer cancel the transfer. If you wish to remain in the world from which you are transferring, you have to wait for the transfer to be completed, then use the world visit system to return once you arrive at the other server.
Once you are on the other server, you can only purchase items from the Market Board. Items cannot be sold on the other server.
However, you can use the FFXIV Companion App to organize your inventory and sell items on the market while your character is using the World Visit system, though there are some restrictions.
Players can list items held by a retainer on the market of your Home World, but you cannot list items in your inventory or chocobo saddlebag.

FFXIV Companion App
The FFXIV Companion App can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store on most mobile devices. Players need this app to list items on the Market Board in other world servers.
The app allows you to talk to your friends, plan events, and access your inventory on the move. In order to access the Market Board, you need to pay Kupo nuts or mog coins.
If you use this feature, hardworking moogles will fly to and from the markets with goods and deliver instructions to your retainers. Furthermore, you will receive various bonuses if you use the FFXIV Companion App.
How long can you visit another world server?
There are no time limits when you another world server, you can visit the server for as long as you want to. However, there are some restrictions to remember when you are visiting another server.
You cannot create, join, or leave a Free Company, and you cannot use Linkshells. Moreover, you cannot purchase estates and apartments, and ceremonies of Eternal Bonding are unavailable.
