FFXIV players will be able to farm the Anabaseios gear set from the Pandæmonium, however, it is yet to be released.

Players can explore the fictional world of Eorzea in this adventurous video game, Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV).

The game’s developers, Square Enix, recently revealed the patch notes for update 6.4, which introduces new features to FFXIV. Players can now acquire Anabaseios gear.

FFXIV: Patch 6.4

Square Enix recently revealed the patch notes for update 6.4, which introduces new content to the game.

The patch revealed that the new storyline, The Dark Throne, will soon be added to the game.  It will allegedly be added to FFXIV on Tuesday, 23 May 2023.

Furthermore, you can enjoy a new raid dungeon, Pandæmonium: Anabaseios and a new dungeon known as The Aetherfont.

The official description of The Aetherfont reads, “North of the Sharlayan mainland lies the verdant Isle of Haam, a land long protected by the Forum as an academic asset due to its abundant wells of aether.”

FFXIV: Anabaseios gear

Pandæmonium: Anabaseios is the final section of the Pandæmonium, which is a dungeon raid that requires 8 players. If you complete this dungeon, players will receive various rewards, including the new gear set, Anabaseios.

It is essential to note that the Anabaseios gear only drops from the final section of the Pandæmonium and they are cast in blue and white with floating crystalline features.

The Anabaseios gear set seems to speak toward a redemption for players at the end of raid.

Although it is yet to be confirmed, FFXIV players believe that the Savage version of the new set will be dyeable, as opposed to the single-color standard armor.

This means that if you like the appearance of the gear set, but not the colors, you will be able to change the colors according to your liking.

It was also revealed that the Savage body gear can be earned from Anabaseios: The Eleventh Circle.

Moreover, if more than 5 people in your raid group have already completed the Savage raid, you will not receive rewards. However, if only between 1 and 4 players completed the raid, then you will still be rewarded.

Players should note that there are a number of Raid changes introduced with patch 6.4. Savage coffers will no longer reward duplicate armor pieces for the same slot.

Thus, players can complete their Anabaseios gear sets quicker as they can receive a new armor piece every time they complete the raid.

Anabaseios Mythos Exchange

FFXIV players should note that they can exchange copies of the same Asphodelos Mythos volumes for special gear. However, patch 6.4 revealed that some changes have been made for the Anabaseios Mythos Exchange:

Gear piece Adjustments
Body Gear The body gear cost will change from 8 to 6 Mythos IV books
Leg Gear It changed from 8 to 6 Mythos III books
Accessories The accessories gear cost changed from 4 to 3 Mythos I books

Mythos IV may allegedly be exchanged for Mythos through II at a 1:1 rate. This means that you can use your Mythos IV books to obtain the other Mythos books with which you can procure items.

Release dates

As previously stated, the Pandæmonium raid is set to launch on Tuesday, 23 May 2023. However, players should be aware that only the normal version of the raid will be available.

The Savage version of the raid will allegedly be released a week later, meaning that players will be able to enjoy it on Tuesday, 30 May 2023.

The Savage version of the raid is released later than the normal version to give players enough time to become comfortable with all the enemies in the raid.

FFXIV gamers should note that the Savage version is more difficult to complete and requires specific strategies.

How to gain access to Anabaseios

In order to gain access to the Pandæmonium, players must complete the Truth Imperfect quest, which is a side mission for the Chronicles of a New Era.

You can acquire this quest by talking to Lahabrea, who is in Stygian Insenescence Cells, though you have to be level 90 to accept this quest.

After completing this quest, you will gain access to the normal version of the Pandæmonium: Anabaseios.

However, to unlock the Savage version, you have to speak to Nemjiji in Labyrinthos. You have to be level 90 in a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic class.
