Players can acquire many different outfits in FFXIV, one of which is 2B outfit, though you have to complete The Copied Factory raid to obtain it.
Overview
Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) is a well-renowned video game that allows players to enjoy adventure and simulation features. It forms part of the Final Fantasy franchise, which means that as a player, you will experience similar content and mechanics in this game.
The game is set in the fictional world of Eorzea, where you can interact with the environment and with other players.
The game contains numerous activities and features, such as completing quests, crafting weapons and gear, and defeating enemies, amongst other things.
However, you first have to create and customise a character by choosing their facial expression, eye colour, body shape, and voice, among other things.
Can players change their character’s clothing?
While you are creating your character, you may notice that they do not have the best clothing or gear equipped and there is a big chance that you will not like their default clothing.
Fortunately, you can craft or loot additional gear and costumes as you advance in the game. It is worth noting that your character’s gear is determined by their class and role.
This means that gear and outfits differ from character to character as their class and role on the battlefield differ. Furthermore, some gear is meant to be used in early-game, while other gear should be worn during endgame content.
FFXIV: 2B Outfit
One of the non-player characters (NPC) you will encounter in FFXIV is 2B, who appears in the Shadowbringers expansion.
She also features in the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raids’ storyline. 2B definitely stands out from the other NPCs, as players can only acquire her outfits by performing specific tasks in the game.
Her uniform is obtainable as various class gear drops in The Copied Factory, however, it is only available for female characters, while her regular outfit is also available as glamour gear for both genders, and it also drops in The Copied Factory.
It is a level 80 raid that was introduced in FFXIV: Shadowbringers.
The Copied Factory
There are currently 4 bosses in the raid and each one will drop a treasure for every alliance taking part. This means that every alliance gets a chance to roll for 2 random pieces of loot. The loot contains headpieces, chest, arms, boots and legs.
The gear you get in this raid is divided into the usual categories, and as per usual, all the pieces look quite similar. However, the looks vary based on whether your character is female or male.
If you are playing as a female character, you will get the black dress that 2B wears, while male characters get the jacket, shorts, and a blindfold that 9S wears.
Similarly to the other content in the game, you can only obtain 1 piece of gear every week from the raid. Once you have received your loot, you can only try again at the weekly raid reset.
Can this method be bypassed?
It can take extremely long to procure 2B’s outfit if you can only receive 1 gear piece weekly. Fortunately, this restriction can be bypassed by players who are only interested in the cosmetic qualities of the outfit.
After defeating the final boss in the raid, you may find an extra chest that contains 3 2B outfit coffers. These can be rolled for by anyone in the raid who contains a level 1 version of the outfit that is meant to be used for glamour purposes only.
There are no restrictions on looting these chests, so players who are interested in high-tier versions of this outfit can simply replay the raid until they get one.
Other obtainable 2B items
In addition to 2B’s outfit, you can acquire several items related to her from other Dark Apocalypse raids. Players can obtain a minion in her likeness from The Puppet’s Bunker, while her Triple Triad Card drops from The Tower at Paradigm’s Breach.
Furthermore, you can also get a unique hairstyle based on her iconic bob and a furniture item.
Final thoughts
Players can experience adventure and role-playing elements in this thrilling video game, FFXIV. It is part of the Final Fantasy series, and, as such, you will most likely experience the same content and gameplay in the world of Eorzea.
As you advance in the game, you will discover various gear sets and glamour outfits. One of the outfits you can procure is based on the popular outfit of NPC, 2B. However, you will have to complete the The Copied Factory raid to obtain it.
