As the name suggests, the game focuses on animals, who are seen as the heart of every farm. This is because there are amazing animals for you to interact with. Additionally, you are able to breed, nurture and tend to baby animals, who will grow into beautiful creatures.
What is the objective of the game?
The first objective of the game is to build your farm and decorate it with numerous items. It is alleged that there is no limit to the size of your farm, as the game consists of thousands of decorations. You should remember that the ultimate goal is to become the world’s best farmer that has various crops to harvest, along with a massive animal collection.
It is thus advised that you do not only focus on crops, but on animals as well. The game features more than 50 different animals for you to tend to, in order to become the best farmer.
FarmVille 3: Exotic Animals
It is important to note that you need to obtain animals in order to level up in the game. Luckily, there are various animals for you to collect. That being said, the animals are divided into different categories, one of which is Exotic Animals.
Once you reach level 9 in the game, you will be able to unlock Exotic Animals. You can find these animals under the Animal Collection tab, which is located in the main menu. There are 5 different sub-categories of Exotic Animals, namely Forest, Mountain, Snow, Desert and Jungle.
The animals are categorised based on the terrain they function the best in. However, they can be further sorted based on their power and Maximum Star ratings. The Exotic Animals that you can obtain include, but are not limited to:
- Brown Bear
- Arctic Fox
- Black Wolf
- Bog Turtle
- Brown Kangaroo
- Tibetan Sand Fox
- Red Panda
- Fennec Fox
- Black Marsh Turtle
How to obtain an Exotic Animal
As mentioned above, you can collect Exotic Animals once you have reached level 9. However, you first have to build an Exotic Animal home, which can be found in the build option. You should remember that one home can hold up to three animals.
You also have to build a Ranger Station before you can obtain an Exotic Animal. It is believed that you have to select the station and click on the compass to unlock exploration. This will offer you your first exotic animal.
You can also collect additional Exotic Animals by completing Exotic Quest Chapters, or by purchasing Exotic Chests from the merchant.
How to train Exotic Animals
In order to train your Exotic Animals, you need to obtain specific Elixirs. You can collect the Elixirs as a reward for completing Animal Quests, selling Exotic Animals or for completing deliveries from the Pier. Once you have obtained an Elixir, you can train your animals.
It is important to note that you first have to select the animal you want to train, before clicking on the info tab. In this section, you can discover the current level, skill and animal power of the Exotic Animal. You can tap on the train button before selecting your Elixirs.
You are able to select various Elixirs and combine them. To start the training process, you have to tap on the “Train” button again. You should remember that this process will cost you coins. Training your animals will increase their power and level, so it is advised that you regularly train them.
How to sell an Exotic Animal
When you receive an Exotic Animal that you already have, you can either keep it on your farm or sell it. It is recommended that you sell it, as you will obtain an Elixir for selling it. You will then be able to use an Elixir in order to level up exotic animals on your farm.
In order to sell an animal, you can tap on the animal collection option in the main menu. You have to select the “Exotic Animal” section before clicking on the animal you want to sell. Once you have selected an animal you want to sell, you can tap on the “Sell” button.
You should note that the last Exotic Animal of the category cannot be sold.
