One of the events that gamers can enjoy is Silk Road and if you participate in this event, you can acquire Silk from Tang Dynasty. The Silk Road event is a recurring event which takes place between Speed Up and the RSS event.
According to an Evony player, the event occurs on the days when the map features half tiles and you cannot find event monsters on the world map.
The reset will allegedly happen on Tuesday, 10 October 2023 which means that the RSS event will conclude.
If you are interested in participating in the Silk Road event, you should keep an eye on the Event Center after Tuesday, 10 October 2023.
Players should note that when the event concludes, all the event items will be removed from the game.
However, several players have revealed that they still have Silk from Tang Dynasty in their inventories, even though the event has ended. Since the event has concluded, players are struggling to use their Silk from Tang Dynasty.
Monarchs cannot use their Silk from Tang Dynasty if the event is inactive. This means that the Silk from Tang Dynasty in your inventory is a bug, as the event has concluded.
At the time of writing, it is unknown whether the items will be removed from the game before the next Silk Road will commence.

What to do with your Silk from Tang Dynasty
When Silk Road commences, you have to complete a series of quests to earn rich rewards, including Silk from Tang Dynasty.
