Evony recently announced that Monarchs can now earn Safe Resources, which cannot be plundered by other players.
As the lord or lady of an empire in Evony: The King’s Return, you have to recruit Generals, train troops, vanquish monsters from the world map and scout other players’ keeps.
As you progress in the game, you will accumulate huge quantities of resources, which you can use for a variety of things.
Safe Resources
Evony regularly updates the game to introduce new content for players and to ensure that the game does not become monotonous.
On Thursday, 7 December 2023 Evony released an in-game announcement that they implemented a Safe Resources feature.
All the resources will now be divided between two categories, namely Safe Resources and Non-Safe Resources.
When your keep is attacked by other players, they will not be able to plunder your Safe Resources, however, the attacking player will be able to plunder your Non-Safe Resources.
When you are upgrading your buildings, you will consume Non-Safe Resources and when those resources are depleted, you will use Safe Resources.
Monarchs should note that Safe Resources cannot be transported, and resources acquired through transportation will not be Safe Resources.
Furthermore, Safe Resources cannot be stored in the Alliance Warehouse and cannot be consumed by troops.
How to acquire Safe Resources
At the time of writing, players can only obtain Safe Resources from the Revenge of Ymir event. However, we believe that Evony will introduce additional methods that you can use to procure Safe Resources.
During the Revenge of Ymir event, you have to kill Ymir on the world map to get awesome rewards and scores.
Players should remember that the score ranking resets daily and the top 10 Alliances will receive ranking rewards.
Keep in mind, though, that once the event has started, a player who quits or joins an Alliance will lose the ranking rewards of that day.
Free Safe Resources
All Evony players can now procure free Safe Resources without participating in the Revenge of Ymir event.
In order to claim your free Safe Resources, you have to open your in-game mail and open the mail titled, “Safe Resources Feature Launch Announcement.”
After reading the announcement you will receive the following items:

Where will Safe Resources be stored?
Safe Resources cannot be stored in the Alliance Warehouse. When you open a Safe Resource box, the resources inside it will automatically be stored with your Non-Safe Resources, even if it cannot be plundered.
This means that your Safe Resources will be stored with your Non-Safe Resources, however, your Safe Resources cannot be stolen by other Evony players.
