How to increase power in Evony: The King’s Return
It can be said that power consists of your troops, buildings, construction, monarch’s gear and technology.
However, your General’s talent and defence can also have a great influence on your power. It is recommended that you keep on increasing your power as you progress in the game.
This is because the higher your power is, the easier it will be to attack and defeat an enemy. Additionally, you will rank up in the leaderboard and become the number one ruler.
It is believed that the best way to increase your power is to research construction, build and train troops, upgrade your buildings and create traps.
Since the easiest way to increase your power is with troops, as they give a lot of power and the majority of the time, they will make up the most of your power. That being said, Subordinate Generals also add to your power.
What buildings can you build?
You should note that there are over 20 different buildings, or constructions that you can build which can increase your power.
That being said, each building first has to be researched before you can build it. Luckily, researching buildings also increases your power.

| Workshop | It allows you to build massive Siege Machines, which you can use in battles. |

It is clear that training troops is the fastest and easiest way to increase your power. You should remember that the game currently features 4 different types of troops, and each troop fulfils a specific role on the battlefield.
You are able to train the following troops in the game:

- Ground troops

Once you have obtained a General, you can assign him or her to a specific part or place in your city or troop. It is important to note that the power of each General can be increased, however, there are a few things that determine their power.
This includes their statistics, specialty, equipment and their Spiritual Beast or Dragon. You can increase your General’s power by levelling them up, reaching star level and assigning a Spiritual Beast or Dragon.
Even though these are all important factors, it is recommended that you first focus on upgrading your General’s equipment, as this will make him very powerful.
