Players can only kick members out of an alliance in Evony: The King’s Return if they have the correct role in the alliance’s structure.
Evony: The King’s Return is a thrilling, role-playing mobile game that invites players to assume the role of either a lord or a lady in medieval times.
As the name implies, it is based on the popular video game, Evony. Players will thus experience similar content, gameplay and mechanics.
The game features a variety of activities for you to enjoy. Players will have to solve multiple puzzles in order to progress in the main story.
These puzzles are the levels of the game that you have to solve before you can move on to the next. You can also defeat enemies and join powerful alliances.
How to join an alliance
There are several alliances in the game that you can join, but you can only be part of one alliance at a time. To join an alliance, you must have an embassy, where you can go through all the alliances in your server to choose one.
Once you have found an alliance, you can apply to become a member. One of the alliance officers, vice-hosts, or the host will either accept or decline your application. If they decline it, you can apply to other alliances.
Moreover, you also have the option of creating your own alliance. However, it costs approximately 10 000 gold, and it requires a level 2 embassy.
Evony: How to expel an alliance member
Every alliance in the game follows a specific structure in terms of their roles, each of which has a specific objective. The host manages the entire alliance, and they can accept or decline new members. They can also ban, kick out, and allocate other roles.
An alliance also comprises vice-hosts, presbyters, officers, and members. The vice-hosts and presbyters can make changes in diplomacy, invite members, kick other players out, and allocate roles.
Only officers can recruit new members, while members do not have any privileges a part from participating.
When an alliance host allocates a vice-host, presbyter, or officer role to you, you should be able to kick out members who are misbehaving. To kick out, or ‘boot’ a player from the alliance, you can go to the alliance tab in the main menu.
In the new menu, you will find a “Members” option situated in the bottom left corner. This will show you all the members in the alliance.
You can scroll down until you find the member you want to boot, and then click on the brown icon, which is situated on the bottom right corner of their name. You will then see a “Kick” option, which will remove them from the alliance.
Why should you kick members out?
Every alliance will need to kick members out as time goes on. This is because some members may stop playing the game and will thus not be active anymore. You can then kick them out of the alliance to make space for new, active members.
You may also have to kick an active member out if he, or she has been breaking the game rules. If this happens, it is advised that you first explain to the member why you are kicking them out. Another reason to kick a member out, is if they are spamming the chat.
It can be quite annoying for other players when someone spams the alliance chat. That being said, you should first give the member who is spamming a warning before kicking them out.
What if the alliance host becomes inactive?
If you realise that your alliance’s host becomes inactive in the game, it is best to leave the alliance and suffer the 10 percent prestige loss.
However, if the alliance has active vice-hosts or presbyters, they will be able to submit a query on the game’s support page in order to change ownership of the alliance.
Is there a way to leave an alliance without losing prestige?
Players should note that you will lose 10 percent of your prestige every time you leave an alliance. This can significantly affect your gameplay. You cannot leave your current alliance without losing prestige.
However, you can ask the host, vice-host, or presbyters to kick you from the alliance, as this will not deduct your prestige. Keep in mind that for 1 hour after you have been kicked out of an alliance, you cannot join, or create another alliance.
