Types of Generals
Generals are a crucial part of the game, as they can lead armies, gather resources, attack monsters, defeat bosses and participate in player-versus-player (PvP) battles.
They are divided into different categories, which are determined by their rarity. The category is usually indicated by the colour of their card.

It is worth noting that Generals who are Legendary have much higher attributes than Generals who are Common. Additionally, Epic Generals are much more difficult to obtain than Common Generals.

How to acquire Generals
To obtain a General, you need to head to the tavern. It is one of the various locations in the game, but it is the only place where you can recruit new Generals.
It is said that there are multiple free Generals available in the tavern for you to collect, but you cannot get a premium General for free, as they are only available in packs which you can purchase with real life money.
Every General has a card that indicates all of its important information. The following table indicates some of the information you can find on a card, and a description of each:
|It represents the quality and rarity of the General. You can obtain gold, purple, green, blue, and white cards.|
|This is indicated by the presence or lack of the helmet icon situated in the top left corner. It is recommended that you do not invest time and money in any non-Historic Generals.|
|Only Historic Generals feature a built-in skill. This might mean that they are stronger than non-Historic Generals.|
|Non-Historic Generals have 3 specialities, while Historic Generals have 4. Please note that Historic Generals’ skill and specialities follow a cohesive theme.|

Can Generals be improved?
Even if you obtained a General with average statistics, you could improve them to increase their power. When you enhance one of your Generals, they will usually gain a star. This process costs gold and general medals to upgrade the General. It will also increase your base statistics.
Cultivating a General is seen as a smaller stepping stone to increasing its base statistics. It also costs gold to cultivate a General and increase their attributes.
