Evony: Blood Crystals

To upgrade a Spiritual Beast’s Seal level in Evony, you have to acquire Blood Crystals by harvesting resources at a resource tile.

You can take on the role of a lord or lady in this adventurous video game, Evony: The King’s Return. Since the game takes place in medieval times, gamers must train troops, recruit Generals, vanquish enemies and procure resources.

As you progress in Evony, you will come across a variety of items, such as Blood Crystals.

Spiritual Beasts

Spiritual Beasts are special creatures that players can acquire from the Pasture Building, though this building only unlocks when you reach level 21. That being said, there are unique requirements you have to meet to unlock every Spiritual Beast.

These creatures function similarly to Dragons as they can be assigned to Generals to allocate them in battle.

There are several Spiritual Beasts that players can acquire, and each beast has different buffs that it will provide your army with when assigned to a General.

Players should therefore choose the Spiritual Beast that they assign to a General carefully, as you want to enhance the General’s capabilities and not hinder them.

Evony: Blood Crystals

The game recently got a major update, which introduced various new features and items. Some Spiritual Beasts can now have Seals activated on them to provide your troops with additional buffs.

These Spiritual Beasts have 5 different Seals that can be leveled up to a maximum level of 20 for a total Seal level of 100.

Upgrading the seals comes at a significant cost of Gems and Blood Crystals, though, which was introduced with the major update.

Players can acquire 5 Blood Crystals daily by gathering resources and resource tiles which are level 13 or higher. Blood Crystals do not have any other use in Evony and can therefore only be used to improve the Seals of your Spiritual Beasts.

You have to scan your world map to find a resource tile which is level 13 or higher. Once you have found one, you should send your troops with the highest carrying capacity to procure the resources.

This will ensure that you procure the most resources along with a few Blood Crystals.

It is worth noting that harvesting resources can take some time, but players can use a speed-up to decrease the harvesting time. If you are yet to unlock your Pasture building, you can still acquire Blood Crystals by gathering resources.

We recommend that you start farming Blood Crystals as soon as possible, as you need a large quantity of Blood Crystals to upgrade the Seals of Spiritual Beasts.

That being said, it is not guaranteed that you will receive a Blood Crystal after harvesting the resources, so you should farm various resource titles to acquire 5 Blood Crystals.

Spiritual Beast Seal details

When certain Spiritual Beasts reach level 10 , they will be able to unlock Seals. Every Spiritual Beast has 5 different seals that can be upgraded in exchange for Blood Crystals and Gems.

If you want to upgrade all the Spiritual Beasts’ seals, you must acquire large quantities of Blood Crystals, as the Seals can be upgraded to level 20.

After upgrading a Seal, you will unlock additional buffs and bonuses, though you will only receive these buffs when you assign the Spiritual Beast to a General during a battle.

Players should remember that only the Siren, Nine-Tailed Fox, and the Pegasus have Seals.

The buffs that the Spiritual Beasts will receive when Seals are upgraded are as follows:

How to acquire the Spiritual Beasts

To unlock the Seal bonuses, you have to procure the Spiritual Beasts. Evony players must acquire Spiritual Beast Scales by slaying Boss Monsters and Event Monsters during an event period.

You can exchange the Spiritual Beast Scales to get the Siren Trident, Fox Mask and the Pegasus Spirit to unlock the corresponding Spiritual beasts.
