Diablo Immortal’s Dark Rebirth update introduced 3 new Legendary Gems, one of which is the 5-star Gem, Void Spark, which has unique abilities.
Diablo fans can battle ancient evils and discover the untold story of what took place between Diablo II and Diablo III in this online action RPG, Diablo Immortal.
Similarly to its predecessors, this game takes place in Sanctuary, in which you have to battle demons, complete quests and farm gear.
Void Spark
As you reach higher levels in Diablo Immortal, you have to improve your character by equipping stronger gear and gems and by using stronger weapons.
The game’s developer, Blizzard, released an update on Tuesday, 19 September 2023 which introduced many new features for players to enjoy.
This update revealed that you can now farm a variety of new Gems, including the Void Spark. This 5-star Gem enables your character to conjure a Void Spark for 6 seconds when you deal damage.
While the Void Spark is active, there is a 30 percent chance that dealing damage can unleash lightning that chains to a maximum of 8 nearby enemies.
This deals 110 percent base damage and an additional 446 damage to every enemy while increasing your Attack Speed by 16 percent. Keep in mind that you can only conjure a Void Spark once every 20 seconds.
This gem has stirred up a lot of excitement among Diablo Immortal players, however, obtaining it is not an easy task.
Additional Gems
In addition to the Void Spark Gem, Blizzard has released 2 other Gems, but their star ranking is not as good as the Void Spark Gem.
However, you can experiment with these Gems to discover new synergies and to make your character’s build blaze like the flames of the Burning Hells.
The other Gems released with the Dark Rebirth update are listed in this table:

How to acquire the Void Spark
As previously mentioned, obtaining the Void Spark Legendary Gem is no easy task, as it can only be earned by completing Elder Rifts.
Players should note that they have to use their hard-earned Legendary Crests during the Elder Rifts activity to get a chance at earning the Void Spark.
Since the Void Spark is a 5-star Legendary Gem, its drop rate is incredibly low, so you have to be extremely lucky to obtain it.
However, Diablo Immortal players can modify their drop tables until Thursday, 12 October 2023 via the Elder Rifts system.
If you modify your drop tables, there is a 50 percent chance that you will get the Void Spark whenever you earn a 5-star Legendary Gem while completing Elder Rifts.
Elder Rifts
Elder Rifts are essentially randomized dungeons with varying monster compositions, layouts and final bosses. Although these dungeons seem dungeons, they all share a few common traits.
You can complete these dungeons by killing regular monsters and picking up the Progress Orbs from slain Elite enemies.
Your progress is tracked by a bar in the upper right corner and when it is full, all regular and Elite enemies will disappear.
You then have to defeat a Rift Guardian to complete the Elder Rift. Even though you can enter an Elder Rift as is, we recommend that you use your Crests at the entrance.
If you add a Crest, you are modifying the rift, which increases your chances of earning better rewards, such as the Void Spark Legendary Gem.
Slotting the Void Spark
When you have earned the Void Spark, you have to equip the Gem to activate its abilities and fortuity, equipping gems is quite straightforward.
Diablo Immortal players simply have to click on a piece of equipment with an empty Gem socket and you will find the option to socket Gems at the bottom of the information panel.
You should remember, however, that you can only equip Gems into gear sockets of their corresponding colors.
This complicates matters somewhat, as only certain types of equipment are guaranteed to roll with 1-3 sockets of every color.
