To obtain Resonance wings in Diablo Immortal, you have to reach specific Resonance milestones, and this cosmetic can only be procured by pay-to-play players.
In Diablo Immortal, you can uncover the untold history of what took place between Diablo II and Diablo III. This mobile version of the game is very similar to its predecessors and therefore, you may encounter various elements in the Diablo games.
Diablo Immortal recently introduced Resonance Wings, which are only available to pay-to-play players.
What is Resonance?
Resonance is an endgame mechanic that allows players to upgrade a Legendary Gem more once it has been awakened. In your inventory screen, above your helmet equipment slot, you will find a golden icon with a numerical value underneath it.
This numerical value is your Resonance score. Unfortunately, this score will only unlock if you have procured an item that gives you some Resonance, such as Legendary Gems.
When a Legendary Gem has been awakened, you unlock the Resonance in the Gem. This Gem can then be used in a Legendary item to increase its power.
Diablo Immortal: Resonance wings
Wings are essentially a cosmetic item, and you may encounter characters that are wearing them during your adventures in Sanctuary. Some players are unsure how they can acquire these wings as the process to do so is quite unique.
In order to acquire a pair of wings, you must reach certain levels of Resonance. Players can increase their Resonance by procuring and upgrading Legendary Gems. Keep in mind that wings only become available if you have reached 1000 Resonance.
However, as you reach higher levels of Resonance, you will unlock additional wings that can be equipped. Unfortunately, due to the Resonance requirements, it is unrealistic to expect free-to-play players to get these wings.
If you are interested in collecting wings, you need to purchase Eternal Orbs from the cash shop to purchase Eternal Legendary Crests.
These crests can then be used in Elder Rifts for guaranteed Legendary Gem drops. You then have to repeat this process until you have enough Resonance points to acquire your wings.
Players who are not interested in spending real money to acquire Legendary Gems may not acquire them at all. This is because the game’s developer, Blizzard’s system to procure Legendary Gems has been quite problematic.
There have been numerous incidents in which players have spent thousands of dollars to acquire a Legendary Gem, but unfortunately, they did not get any Gems.
Suffice to say, the current system of acquiring Legendary Gems and wings requires a change. However, it is undetermined whether Blizzard will adjust these systems, since they are generating a revenue as players use real money to purchase items.
New Wings
On Friday, 13 January 2023, Blizzard released a statement that explains the latest Diablo Immortal updates.
They revealed that players can enjoy a New Year Event, procure a new Cosmetic Set, progress in a new Battle Pass, and participate in several limited-time events.
The statement also explained that 2 new sets of Resonance Wings have been added to the Resonance system. Allegedly, the theme of these 2 wings is Holy, which might indicate that the developer will add white colour accents to the existing wings.
According to the statement, the new Resonance wings were added to the games in Oceania, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers on Sunday, 15 January 2023. However, the update will only commence on Monday, 16 January 2023 on American servers.
2k Wings
The Resonance system contains several milestones that you have to reach. In order to unlock your first wings, you have to have 1000 Resonance points. The second tier requires 3000 Resonance points, while the third tier requires 5000 Resonance points.
However, Blizzard recently announced that 2 new Resonance Wings have been added to the Resonance milestone system. Players can now acquire wings once they reach 2000 Resonance points, and the other milestone requires 4000 Resonance points.
Eternal Orbs
Eternal Orbs are a form of currency in Diablo Immortal. Players can purchase Eternal Orbs with real-world money, but in specific situations they can be earned in the game.
Eternal Orbs can be used to purchase numerous items, including Reforge Stones, Legendary Crests, Cosmetic Sets, and platinum.
