Diablo Immortal’s fishing locations in Ashwold Cemetery, Bilefen, and Frozen Tundra are signified by a fish icon on the world map.
Diablo Immortal invites gamers to uncover the untold history of what occurred between Diablo II and Diablo III. This mobile version is very similar to its predecessors, but with this game, you can experience Sanctuary like never before.
Blizzard recently introduced fishing to Diablo Immortal, however, players do not know where the fishing locations are.
Fishing in Diablo Immortal
On Monday, 20 February 2023, Blizzard revealed that you can now enjoy fishing in Diablo Immortal.
The official statement reads,” Cast aside your weapon adventurer, you have sent enough demons home to wriggle in the Hells today. A tranquil new pastime is available for you. It is time to go fishing!”
Unfortunately, only players that are on level 43 and higher can travel to Bilefen to begin the The Greatest Pastime quest.
This quest will start you on your path to become the best angler that the game has ever seen and most importantly, provide you with a fishing rod.
Diablo Immortal: Fish locations
After completing the quest, you can begin your pursuit of Sanctuary’s underwater dwellers. At the moment, there are 3 zones in which you can fish, namely Ashwold Cemetery, Bilefen, and Frozen Tundra.
It is unknown whether more fishing locations will be introduced to Diablo Immortal or not.
All these fishing locations are Safe Zones, which means monsters and other types of enemies will not be able to attack you during your fishing adventures. If you are unsure where the exact fishing locations are, you can look for a fish icon in the zone map.
The fish icon will show you the exact location of the fishing spot is in a specific zone. Before going to a fishing location, you have to visit the local Fisher in any of the 3 Fishing zones to purchase bait.
Common Bait costs 200 Gold, but you can only carry 99 bait at any given time. With your rod and bait secured, you can go to a fishing icon. To start casting your rod, you have to press the rod button next to your other abilities.
With your fishing line cast, a timer on the top of the screen will appear, which displays white, blue, and gold–colored fish icons.
As your bobber rests in the water, fish will nibble at it periodically and you will notice that the timer will slowly start filling up, passing each of the 3 fish icons.
When you decide to reel in a catch is completely up to you, but keep in mind that leaving the line in the water for longer will increase your chances of catching rare fish.
Can you sell fish?
Once you have caught fish, you can go back to the nearest Fisher to exchange your hard-caught fish for rewards. There are 5 categories of fish, namely common, uncommon, rare, legendary, and mythic.
The rarer a fish is, the greater the rewards are that you can exchange it for. You can acquire items of random rarity and new aesthetics for your fishing rod by exchanging your fish.
Fillling out the Angler’s Log
There are more than 30 unique fish species populating the waters of Sanctuary. Every species has a preferred habitat, so you can only catch fish at specific fishing locations.
Within the Bestiary Angler’s Log section, each fish has an entry which lists their preferred habitat, along with the number of fish that you have caught, the highest weight that you have caught, and the highest weight that was caught on your server.
You can also discover Angler’s Log rewards, which challenges you to collect unique fish species to get rewards.
What fish can you catch?
As previously explained, specific fish only spawn in certain fishing locations. This means that you have to visit all 3 fishing locations to catch a variety of fish.
