Players can earn amazing rewards for completing Elite quests in Diablo Immortal, however, they only unlock at level 60.
Players are invited to explore the nightmarish world of Sanctuary like never before in this role-playing game, Diablo Immortal.
As the game’s name suggests, it is part of the classic Diablo series, but unlike its predecessors, this version can be enjoyed on mobile platforms.
The game is set in the time between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III. You begin your adventure in the town of Wortham, which is being threatened by cultists and the undead.
It is up to you to locate and destroy shards of the Worldstone to prevent a world-threatening disaster from taking place. In addition to the main quests, you can complete Elite quests, side quests, and Contracts.
Why should you complete quests?
Although players can do whatever they want to in the game, it is advised that they focus on completing the main quests first. This is because these quests function as a guide to the game, as they give you very specific tasks to complete to earn certain rewards and to advance in the game.
The tasks you have to complete can vary in difficulty, so some quests can be quite simple and quick to complete, while others are more challenging. The main quest can be found on the left side of the screen, beneath your character’s profile.
Diablo Immortal: Elite quests
The game consists of varying quests that you can complete, as previously mentioned, you can complete the Elite quests. These are larger, multiple-step quests that are not necessarily part of the main quest, but that take time to complete.
Players can be directed to these quests by Taite, the Adventure Seeker in Westmarch, in exchange for an Adventure Journal. Players can then earn the journal by completing specific Codex objectives.
It is worth noting that Elite Quests generally offer unique quest rewards since players have to defeat powerful bosses.
Although these quests and rewards may seem tempting, it is advised that you focus on them after you have completed all the main quests in the game. This can take some time, as there are many main story quests for you to complete.
You only gain access to the Elite quests when you have reached level 60 in the game, which gives you ample time to complete the main quests.
Westmarch
Westmarch is the third zone that you can explore from level 17 to level 20 if you follow the main questline in Diablo Immortal. This city also serves as the capital where players can interact with each other, seek non-player character’s (NPCs) services, and purchase items, among other things.
You can find the following NPCs in Westmarch:
- Blacksmith
- Jeweller
- Adventure Seeker
- Charm Craftsman
- Crest Merchant
- Crystal Merchant
- Fading Ember Trader
- Reforge Stone Vendor
The city also has several points of interest, including the Battleground Captain, a boat, Bounty boards, challenge rifts, and elder rifts, among others. You should bear in mind that you may not have access to these features, but you can unlock them once you have met the requirements to do so.
Codex
As mentioned above, you need to complete specific Codex tasks to obtain an Adventure Journal, which can then be given to the Adventure Seeker. The Codex menu of the game can help you keep track of your overall character progression.
It is tied to the progression of the Battle Pass and can thus be seen as an additional quest log. Furthermore, it also features Conquest: World, Conquest: Player-versus-player, and Achievement sub-categories.
However, it features open-world and character-driven activities that reward players with Battle Points and other in-game currencies.
Alternative quests
In addition to Elite quests, players can complete side quests, main quests, and contracts. The table below explains each of these quest types:
Quest type | Description |
Contracts | They are unique quests only available to the Shadows faction. Contracts introduce the conflict between the Immortals and the spies that like to look for trouble with them. Players should note that most of these quests can be completed solo. |
Side quests | These are small, unobligated quests that you may come across while exploring the world. Sometimes, quick attacks will happen in an unexpected place, or a non-player character will ask for your help. Players will earn rewards for completing these quests. |
Main quest | The core, interconnected stories that lead you from one zone to the next. |
