Diablo Immortal: Demonic Remains

Players can get additional buffs in Diablo Immortal by collecting Demonic Remains and placing them in the Helliquary.

You are invited to explore the fantasy realm of Sanctuary in this role-playing mobile game called Diablo Immortal. If you have played any other Diablo games, you can expect similar content, gameplay and mechanics since this game is part of the classic Diablo series.

In this game, players can discover the untold story that took place between Diablo I and Diablo II. Players get the opportunity to select a class and customise a character before completing the tutorial mission at the beginning of the game.

Although you can basically do anything after the tutorial quest, it is advised that you follow the main storyline. However, you may discover additional side quests as you progress in the game.

What is the objective of quests?

Quests function as a guide to the game, as they give players very specific tasks to complete. You receive several rewards when you complete a quest, which can include experience points, gear, weapons, consumables, and other desirable items.

It is important to note that you need experience points to advance to the next level of the game. Thus, the objective of quests is to ensure that you progress in the game while following a specific storyline.

There are different types of quests in Diablo Immortal, some of which are mandatory, and others that can only be completed by the Shadow Faction.

Diablo Immortal: Demonic Remains

One of the quests you have to complete in Diablo Immortal is Demonic Remains, but you first have to unlock the Helliquary. This means that players have to at least be on level 36 before they can accept this quest.

The quest starts after you get the vision from the Helliquary of the destruction of Westmarch. When players hold the Helliquary for the first time, they will see a vision from the Einfrinn Tree, however, it is being raided by Demons from Hell.

You then have to face the first demon, Chaos Herald Pyl. Once the vision is over, players have to go to the Challenge Rift to defeat Chaos Herald Pyl as the Rift Guardian to loot his Demonic Remains.

After defeating him, players must talk to the non-player character, Rayek in Westmarch to get further instructions. To complete the quest, you have to travel to the Helliquary and select the Wrathborne Helliquary option before you allocate the Demonic Remains to the open slot.

Players will earn permanent buffs after clicking on the seal option. You can allegedly upgrade these buffs, and they will influence your Combat Rating. You should bear in mind that there are many more Demonic Remains that you can add to the other slots of the Helliquary.

What are Rifts?

Players can unlock the Elder Rift activity once they arrive in Westmarch. When you enter a rift, the objective is to finish it as quickly as possible.

They procedurally generate and feature several enemies that you have to defeat before you reach the mini boss. Players will earn various rewards if they successfully complete a rift.

How to beat Chaos Herald Pyl

The fight against Chaos Herald Pyl is not very challenging, but there are a few things players should take note of during the battle. It is recommended that you are mobile in the fight, as it allows you to avoid damage and get into various positions.

Players should watch out for the groups of minions summoned by the Demon. You can prioritise killing them with area-of-effect (AoE) skills until you can focus on Pyl again.

It is worth noting that he casts a skill that creates burning rings of fire on the ground that glow orange. These rings deal constant damage to you for as long as you are standing in them, so it is advisable that you avoid them entirely.

It is also recommended that you try to avoid Pyl’s ultimate skill, which blasts massive AoE damage around him. Some players can tank this skill, but others, who cannot, should run away as far as possible.

Can the Helliquary be upgraded?

Diablo Immortal players can upgrade their Helliquary using the Hellfire Scoria, which you can get by taking normal Scoria to a blacksmith. It is important to keep in mind that this process costs approximately 100 gold.

Once you have your Hellfire Scoria, you can upgrade your Helliquary, which will unlock additional storage slots for Demonic Remains.
