You can purchase a Cycle’s Turn Chest in Diablo Immortal once a Cycle Strife has ended, but you first have to procure Hilts.
Players are invited to explore the fictional world of Sanctuary in this thrilling mobile game, Diablo Immortal. As the game’s name suggests, it is part of the classic Diablo franchise, which means that you can experience similar gameplay, mechanics, and content throughout the games.
You can discover the untold story that took place between Diablo I and Diablo II; but you first have to complete a tutorial mission at the beginning of the game.
Similarly to its predecessors, the game offers players different consumables, gear sets, weapons, and currencies to enjoy. Although some of these items can be purchased from the in-game shop, most can only be obtained by defeating monsters.
What are consumables?
You will come across various consumables as you progress in the game. Consumables are used to replenish a variety of elements, or to get temporary buffs that can provide your character with effects. Players can also use consumables to get certain rewards.
One of the consumables your character can use is the Scroll of Ice Armor, which grants you and your allies a 30 percent chance of applying a chill debuff to the attacker when attacked.
The Conduit Globe grants the Emit Lightning effect, which gives your character 3 charges of area-of-effect (AoE) lightning damage. However, this is only triggered when enemies are nearby.
Diablo Immortal: Cycle’s Turn Chests
Cycle’s Turn Chests in Diablo Immortal are a unique type of consumable available for purchase from the in-game shop, Hilts Trader. Though you can only purchase it after a Cycle of Strife ends in the game.
Players should note that they first have to gather Hilts, which is one of the in-game currencies, before they can purchase a Cycle’s Turn Chest.
When you purchase a chest, it opens automatically and the reward can be found in your inventory. You will not find a chest in your inventory, but you will find the items you received in the chest.
Many players are likely to have multiple copies of the rewards in their inventories, so it is easy to lose track of the reward.
This has caused some issues in the game, as players have reported that they did not receive a reward, or that their chest is bugged. Hence, it is recommended that you watch the menu very carefully after buying the chest, as the reward is shown quite briefly on the screen.
You can get the following rewards from a Cycle’s Turn Chest:
|This upgrade material is used to re-roll the bonus attributes of primary gear. All random outcomes have an equal probability.
|Charms are equitable items that can increase the rank of your character’s skills.
|Gems provide your character with numerous benefits; but it depends on the type of gem you have. There are currently 6 gems in the game.
Cycle of Strife
The Cycle of Strife is a never-ending battle between the Shadows and the Immortals. This game mechanic allows clans to compete with one another.
Every clan has the ability to become a dark clan. If a Shadows clan defeats the Immortals in the Rite of Exile, the Cycle at the time completes, and a new one begins.
It is worth noting that everything is connected to a Cycle reset, including ranks, Path of Blood progress, and Eternal Crown levels. Once a Cycle ends, you can go to the Hilts Shop and purchase a Cycle’s Turn Chest.
As previously mentioned, you have to acquire Hilts before you can purchase items from the Hilts Trader. Hilts are a special currency that cannot be acquired by killing enemies.
Instead, you can acquire it from battle pass rewards, challenge rift rewards, and codex rewards. Players can also get Hilts from the first kill of the day and by completing faction quests.
Once you have enough Hilts, you can go to Lieutenant Fizriah in the Northeast of Westmarch, who sells a variety of valuable and rare loot in exchange for Hilts. A Cycle’s Turn Chests cost approximately 50 Hilts.
How many Cycle’s Turn Chest can be purchased?
It is important to note that players can purchase a Cycle’s Turn Chest daily for a limited period of time. The chest is not always available at the Hilt Trader, so you should check the trader regularly if you are considering purchasing a chest.
Furthermore, Diablo Immortal players have to remember that they can only purchase a chest once a day.
