Diablo Immortal: Atanas location

Atanas in Diablo Immortal can be found in the southwestern wing of the Halls of Punishment, which is situated in the Realm of Damnation.

In Diablo Immortal, gamers can battle ancient monsters and discover the unrevealed story that took place between Diablo II and Diablo III.

Since the game is part of the classic Diablo series, you are likely to experience similar mechanics, character classes, and gameplay. Unlike its predecessors, this game invites players to experience it on mobile platforms.

Your adventure begins in the town of Wortham, which is being threatened by cultists and the undead. It is your responsibility to find and destroy shards of the Worldstone to prevent a world-threatening disaster from occurring.

On your mission, you will come across numerous monsters, one of which is Atanas, though its location is well hidden.

Types of enemies

There are currently 5 types of enemies in Diablo Immortal, namely, Regular enemies, Rare enemies, Goblins, Story Bosses, and World Bosses. Normal enemies are trash mobs, and they are not very difficult to defeat.

Rare enemies can be identified by a characteristic skull icon in a specific colour. You can defeat blue, purple, yellow, and orange enemies. Goblins are small and extremely fast creatures, however, their bags drop valuable items.

Story Bosses are quite strong as they have more health points, unique abilities, and mechanics. World Bosses are only available after reaching the sixtieth experience level and switching to the Hell 1 difficulty level.

Diablo Immortal: Atanas location

One of the Unique Purple Elite monsters you can find in Diablo Immortal is Atanas. You can find this monster in the southwestern wing of the Halls of Punishment, which is in the Realm of Damnation. This monster allegedly spawns south west of Skarn’s eye.

Atanas can be encountered randomly as a Wanted Side Quest. Wanted Side quests literally come out and surprise you. In other words, you can receive the quest at any stage while exploring the open world.

Wanted quests always ask you to defeat a unique enemy, which usually has multiple health bars. These enemies use affixes seen on Champion and Rare Elite monsters. Players should note that unique purple elite monsters can randomly spawn in the vicinity when they’re nearby.

When a Unique Elite monster has spawned, the text, “New Event” will appear on the screen, and you will see the Wanted Side quest in the quest sidebar. This means that players have to walk around the southwestern wing of the Halls of Punishment to trigger Atanas.

It is recommended that you click on all treasure chests and the shrine in the area to increase the chances of Atanas spawning. Moreover, you can complete any side quest in the area to trigger Atanas to spawn.

If the monster cannot be found in its listed location, you can try leaving and coming back to its location at a later stage.

Atanas’ attack

Players have to defeat Atanas once it spawns, but keep in mind that this boss has an array of attacks that can be deadly if you do not watch out for them. The table below lists each attack and describes each one:

Attack Description
Dagger spit The monster spits a single dagger that shoots in a straight line towards your character
Sword Arc A vertical sword swipe that travels in an arc. The ground will glow orange before the attack is done, which gives you enough time to block or dodge the attack
Double Sword Swipe Atanas swings two flaming swords in front of it in a wide arc
Shooting Sword Attack The monster releases seven swords, which shoot in every direction. There is allegedly a brief delay before the attack fires, so players can line up in the gaps to avoid the attack

Rewards

After defeating Atanas, players should remember to pick up their rewards. You will allegedly receive a specific quantity of Gold, a random piece of equipment, and enchanted dust. In Diablo Immortal, Gold is one of the most common and most important currencies.

You can use Gold for numerous reasons, however, it is recommended that you use it to upgrade your character’s gear. You can also use spare Gold to gamble or save the Gold to create a clan. Enchanted dust is a type of Upgrade Material players earned from quests.

It is mostly used to upgrade the gear ranks of your character’s primary equipment. This includes shoulders, chest, leg armour, head, as well as main and off-hand weapons.

Realm of Damnation

The Realm of Damnation is one of the regions you can visit in Diablo Immortal to acquire a World Stone Shard. There are 4 objectives to complete in this region, one of which is to defeat Atanas.

Additionally, you can defeat Zaka, complete the Demon Gates trial, and Defeat Talons of Skarn 30 times for Skarn’s Gaze.

It is worth noting that it also has an adventure completion, which requires unlocking 100 percent of the map. There are also quests, Horadric Bestiary pages, and additional side quests that you can complete.
