Diablo 4: Where to use Exquisite Blood

In Diablo 4, you can use Exquisite Blood in the Ancient’s Seat Dungeon, which can be found in Fractured Peaks.

In Diablo 4, players can craft an experience that is uniquely your own. You can customize everything from how your character looks, the skills he/she uses to dispatch Hell’s blood lusting minions, and how your gear can enhance your character’s abilities or transform their appearance(s).

Where to use Exquisite Blood

Diablo 4’s developer, Blizzard, recently released the Season of the Blood, which introduced numerous new Legendary gear, endgame bosses, and new summoning materials that you need to acquire to summon the endgame bosses.

One of the new summoning items that you can procure is Exquisite Blood, which you can use to summon Lord Zir.

To summon this endgame boss in World Tier 4, you have to farm 9 Exquisite Blood Vials. Once you have the 9 Exquisite Blood vials, you have to head to Fractured Peaks.

In Fractured Peaks, you can find the Ancient’s Seat Dungeon, which is home to Lord Zir. As you progress through the dungeon, you have to be on the lookout for the Bloodied Altar.

When you have found the Altar, you can interact with it and place your 9 Exquisite Blood vials on the Altar to summon the boss.

Players should note that locating the Ancient’s Seat Dungeon can be quite difficult, especially if you do not know where to look. This dungeon is in the Darkened Way, which is near Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks.

How to acquire Exquisite Blood

You cannot summon Lord Zir if you do not place Exquisite Blood vials on the Bloodied Altar. There are a few activities that you can complete on Torment World Tier to collect the items.

The following table lists the activities that you can enjoy and describes each one:

Activity Description
World Boss These massive, epic bosses can be fought alongside multiple other players to earn rewards. At the time of writing, there are 3 World Bosses to defeat, namely Wandering Death, Ashava and Avarice. Players should note that world bosses spawn every 3 and a half hours.
Legion Events Every 30 minutes, a Legion Event will spawn in one of Esturar’s regions. The goal of the event is to slay Servants of Hell to spawn the final boss, which you need to vanquish to claim any rewards.

Can you buy Exquisite Blood vials?

If you are not up for farming Exquisite Blood vials to summon Lord Zir, you can open Diablo 4’s market and check if someone has put the item up for sale.

Keep in mind, however, that Exquisite Blood is considered one of the most valuable items in Diablo 4, which means that you can pay up to 30 000 per vial.

Diablo 4 players who do not have a coin shortage can purchase the coins easily, however, most players will have to farm the coins as they do not have the necessary coins to purchase the vials.

Lord Zir

As previously explained, Lord Zir is one of the new Uber endgame bosses which was introduced with season 2 of Diablo 4.

It is noteworthy that this boss can only be fought in World Tier 4, even without going through the seasonal questline.

After placing your Exquisite Blood vials on the Bloodied Altar, the boss will spawn. This can be a very difficult fight, but if you use the correct strategy, you will be able to destroy him.

After the boss has spawned, we recommend that you keep him in a corner of the room.

If you push the boss into a corner, most of his Blood Pools will be concentrated in a single area. As the fight progresses, the enemy will summon a variety of Blood Seekers.

You then have to defeat these adds as soon as possible, as they have the potential to Crowd Control your character. Lastly, you have to dodge the Blood Orbs that the boss summons.
