Destiny 2: Omnioculus

The Omnioculus is an Exotic Chest piece in Destiny 2, however, only the Hunter Void subclass, Nightstalker, should use it.

Destiny 2 is a thrilling video game that invites gamers to create and control a fictional character with which to explore a vast open world.

As you progress in the game, your character will require stronger gear and weapons, however, some gear pieces can only be equipped by a specific class. One of the chest pieces that Hunters can acquire is Omnioculus.

Destiny 2: Omnioculus

The Omnioculus is an Exotic chest piece players can procure in Destiny 2, and this piece is geared toward the Hunter Void subclass, Nightstalker.

This chest piece boosts the class to another level when it comes to endgame content. Furthermore, not only will the Hunter receive benefits, but the entire Fireteam will.

Armors are a key element in the game, but what makes the Omnioculus unique and extraordinary is its perk: Beyond the Veil. This perk offers players a second Smoke Bomb charge and it has damage resistance while your character is invisible.

When you make an ally invisible, they will gain damage resistance while your character will benefit from melee energy. This perk is very beneficial, but Hunters using the Omnioculus should be invisible as much as possible to receive the most benefits.

If you make an ally invisible, your character will receive melee energy, which can be used to make more smoke bombs. Therefore, it is a beneficial gameplay loop which will help you protect your teammates.

How to acquire the Omnioculus

In order to procure the Omnioculus, you have to target farm through Legend and Master Lost Sectors. If you complete these activities solo, you could get an Exotic armor piece.

The location and the rewards rotate daily, so there is no guarantee that you will receive the Omnioculus.

To get this Exotic item, you have to look out for the Exotic Chest Reward by completing the Lost Sectors on regular difficulty. Completing the Legend or Master Lost Sector solo gives you a chance at obtaining it.

When to use Omnioculus

This armor piece excels in endgame player-versus-environment content. The Grandmasters Nightfalls have been a main source of Omnioculus usage for Hunters. You can use a Hunter ability to turn your team invisible before defeating tankier enemies.

The invisibility will help your team take up better battle positions or to get the team out of a difficult situation.

Recommended combinations

There are several ability combinations that you can pair the Omnioculus with, though some are better than others. We recommend that you pair it with Gambler’s Dodge, Vortex Grenade and Snare Bomb.

For aspects, Destiny 2 players can use Trapper’s Ambush and Vanishing step paired with Fragments Echo of Persistence, Echo of Obscurity and Echo of Remnants.
