Destiny 2: It’s in the Cards bug

Players are unable to select “Accept” for Destiny 2’s It’s in the Cards quest as they need to be part of a Clan to advance.

You can experience imaginative role-playing elements in this exhilarating video game, Destiny 2. As the Guardian, you have to protect Earth’s last safe city from terrifying foes.

In addition to following the main arc, you can complete side missions to earn rewards. One of the missions that you can complete is ‘It’s in the Cards,’ but several players are experiencing a bug.

Destiny 2: It’s in the Cards bug

Season 21 of Destiny 2, Season of the Deep, was recently released and unfortunately, players are encountering several bugs with it. At one point in the game, you have to talk to Hawthorne and complete a vendor’s challenge.

When you return to her, you will notice that you cannot select the “Accept” option on the It’s in the Cards mission menu. Although it is quite a frustrating bug, as players cannot advance further because of it, it can be fixed quite easily.

Players who cannot select the “Accept” option have to join a clan to progress through the screen. This is because Hawthorne serves as both the Commendation and Clan vendor.

Unfortunately, it was revealed that Bungie, Destiny 2’s developer, has disabled Clans across the game.

This means that even if you were already in a Clan while the features went down, the game would not register that you are part of a clan.

How to join a Clan

To be able to select the Accept option, you must be part of a Clan. If you are interested in joining a Clan, you have to send a request to any player that is part of said Clan in-game.

You can find a Clan by looking on Bungie Forums or on the official Discord server.

Once you have been accepted into the Clan, you will be able to return to Hawthorne and click on the Accept option for It’s in the Cards.

Clan bug

On a Reddit forum, several players revealed that they were in a Clan but to they could not select the Accept option. This is because Bungie disabled all Clan features in the game, which means that your character is no longer in a Clan.

Allegedly, Bungie is currently resolving the issue. It is unknown whether you will be able to join a Clan while the feature is disabled or not.

It’s in the Cards rewards

After giving 5 Commendations to your fellow Guardians, you can return to Hawthorne and claim your rewards.

For completing this quest, Destiny 2 players will receive a Legendary Engram, which contains a random Legendary weapon or armor piece.
