During Destiny 2 Season of Plunder, players have to complete numerous challenges, one of which is the Antiquarian VII.
Destiny 2: New Light is a thrilling multiplayer video game that invites players to enjoy role-playing and adventure elements. It is set in the fictional world of Sol, in which you can assume the role of a Guardian.
The Guardians are revived corpses of the ancient dead who were resurrected without memories of their previous lives. They are essentially immortal warriors that protect the survivors of the human race against intergalactic threats.
The game’s developer, Bungie, occasionally introduces new features and events that players can enjoy. They recently added the Season of the Plunder during which players have to complete specific tasks weekly. During week 7 of the season, players have to complete the Antiquarian VII quest.
Seasonal challenges
Every season, Bungie releases 10 weeks of Destiny 2 seasonal challenges, and a new set is released every Tuesday after the weekly reset.
These challenges can vary, but generally, they require you to complete challenges through the game’s activities.
This could mean that you have to defeat a specific type of enemy, play Crucial matches, bank motes in Gambit, or attempt high-level Nightfall Strikes.
To obtain the weekly challenges, players simply have to open their quests menu in the director. The weekly challenges appear at the top of the list, and if you click on the menu, you can track how you are progressing with each challenge from every active week in the season.
Destiny 2: Antiquarian VII
Destiny 2 18th season invites players to complete 10 weeks of challenges to earn precious rewards. The latest season is the Season of Plunder, and it commenced on 23 August 2022, and the last week of the season is going live on 25 October 2022.
This means that week 7 of the seasonal challenges is currently active. This week contains some of the toughest challenges yet, including Glory match completions and a GM Nightfall clear.
To compensate for this, some challenges grant 100 000 experience points and 300 Bright Dust on completion, which is the highest reward available.
In previous weeks, players had to complete antiquarian quests to get a reward and week 7 is no different. For Antiquarian VII, players have to return the seventh Relic to the H.E.L.M and defeat powerful Vex throughout the system.
However, defeating more powerful combatants will reward you with bonus progress. Allegedly, the fastest way to complete this challenge is by farming heroic Spire Integration public events. It is important that you select the heroic mode, as the game will then spawn powerful Vex.
These events can spawn in specific Europa and Nessus zones. The Nessus zones include the Hallows, which guarantees a Spire event every time, Exodus Black, Watcher’s Grave, and The Tangle. Europa can spawn Spire Integration in Asterion Abyss and Cadmus Ridge.
By completing this challenge, you will get repute and challenger experience points.

In addition to Antiquarian VII, players have to complete the following challenges while week 7 is active:

Repute
Repute is the new seasonal currency in the Season of the Plunder. Players can earn repute by completing seasonal challenges, like Antiquarian VII.
It is regarded as a material that needs to be obtained to hire and further upgrade your crew to provide you with better performance and bonuses in Season of Plunder.
It is unknown if this currency disappears when the seasonal challenge concludes, so it is advisable that you use the currency before the end of the challenge.
To claim repute, you can simply open the Seasonal Challenges section which can be found in the Season 18 menu. In the menu, you can select the claim reward option.
What are week 8’s challenges?
Unfortunately, it is impossible to know what the following week’s seasonal challenges will be. You can find out what the challenges are after Destiny 2’s weekly reset.
However, it is known that week 8 commences on 11 October 2022, and week 9 kicks off on 18 October 2022. The last week of the challenge commences on 25 October 2022.
